జీనోమ్ వ్యాలీ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ పరిధిలో మహిళ మెడలోని నల్లపూసల రోల్డ్ గోల్డ్ గొలుసు లాక్కెళ్లిన ఇద్దరు చైన్ స్నాచర్లను పోలీసులు అరెస్ట్ చేసి రిమాండ్కు తరలించారు. ఈ వివరాలను మేడ్చల్ డివిజన్ ఏసీపీ సిహెచ్ శంకర్ రెడ్డి వెల్లడించారు.
సిద్దిపేట జిల్లా ములుగు మండలం లక్ష్మక్కపల్లికి చెందిన ఇల్లా నాగలక్ష్మి సైనిక్ స్కూల్లో ఆయాగా పనిచేస్తున్నారు. ఈనెల 17న ఉదయం 6:30 గంటలకు అలియాబాద్ మున్సిపాలిటీ మజీద్పూర్ చౌరస్తా బస్ స్టాప్ వద్ద బస్సు కోసం వేచి ఉండగా ఘటన జరిగింది.
అదే సమయంలో మేడ్చల్ పట్టణానికి చెందిన షేక్ సగీర్ అహ్మద్ (55), విభూది సాయి కృష్ణ అలియాస్ సాయి (19) స్కూటర్పై అక్కడికి వచ్చారు. వెనుక కూర్చున్న వ్యక్తి దిగిపోయి ఆమె మెడలో ఉన్న గొలుసును లాక్కొని ఇద్దరూ అక్కడి నుంచి పారిపోయారు.
తర్వాత ఆ గొలుసును తాకట్టు పెట్టి డబ్బు పొందేందుకు మేడ్చల్లోని కరూర్ వైశ్యా బ్యాంక్కు వెళ్లగా అది రోల్డ్ గోల్డ్ చైన్ అని తెలిసింది. బాధితురాలి ఫిర్యాదు మేరకు పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు ప్రారంభించారు.
జీనోమ్ వ్యాలీ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ జి. గురువయ్య, సీసీఎస్, ఎస్వోటీ, మేడ్చల్ పోలీసుల సమన్వయంతో నిందితులను పట్టుకుని వారి వద్ద నుంచి రోల్డ్ గోల్డ్ చైన్, యమహా ఫాసినో స్కూటర్, రెండు సెల్ఫోన్లు, ఒక కత్తిని స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు.

Police arrested and remanded two chain snatchers involved in stealing a rolled gold black beads chain from a woman in the Genome Valley police station limits of Medchal district. The details were revealed by Medchal Division ACP C.H. Shankar Reddy.
The victim, Illa Nagalakshmi, works as an ayah at Sainik School in Lakshmakkapalli of Mulugu mandal in Siddipet district. On April 17 at around 6:30 AM, she was waiting for a bus at Majidpur crossroads bus stop in Aliabad municipality when the incident took place.
At that time, Shaik Sageer Ahmed (55) and Vibhudi Sai Krishna alias Sai (19), both from Medchal town, arrived on a scooter. The pillion rider got down, snatched the chain from her neck, and both fled from the spot immediately.
Later, the accused tried to pledge the chain for money at Karur Vysya Bank in Medchal, where they were informed that it was only a rolled gold chain.
Based on the victim’s complaint, police registered a case and launched an investigation. Police teams arrested the accused and seized the rolled gold chain, a Yamaha Fascino scooter, two mobile phones, and a knife from their possession.
