తెలంగాణలో ఆర్టీసీ ఉద్యోగులకు ప్రభుత్వం డీఏ పెంపు ప్రకటించింది. 2026 జనవరి 1 నుంచి అమల్లోకి వచ్చేలా 2.1% పెంపుతో మొత్తం డీఏ 52.8%కు చేరింది.

తెలంగాణలో ఆర్టీసీ ఉద్యోగులకు ప్రభుత్వం శుభవార్త ప్రకటించింది. రాష్ట్ర రవాణా శాఖ నిర్ణయం ప్రకారం డియర్నెస్ అలవెన్స్ (డీఏ)ను 2.1 శాతం పెంచారు. తాజా పెంపుతో ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న 50.7 శాతం డీఏ 52.8 శాతానికి చేరుకుంది. ఈ పెంపు 2026 జనవరి 1 నుంచి అమల్లోకి రానుంది.
గత మూడు నెలల డీఏ బకాయిలను సప్లిమెంటరీ బిల్లుల ద్వారా చెల్లించనున్నట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఈ పెంపుతో ఆర్టీసీపై నెలకు సుమారు రూ.2.82 కోట్ల అదనపు భారం పడనుందని యాజమాన్యం పేర్కొంది.
రవాణా శాఖ మంత్రి పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ నిర్వహించిన సమీక్ష సమావేశంలో ఈ నిర్ణయం వెల్లడైంది. ఆర్టీసీ పెండింగ్ పనులను వేగవంతం చేయాలని రీజియనల్ మేనేజర్లకు ఆదేశాలు ఇచ్చారు.
ప్రభుత్వం ఆర్టీసీ కార్మికుల సంక్షేమాన్ని ప్రాధాన్యంగా తీసుకుంటున్నట్లు స్పష్టం చేసింది. ఆసుపత్రుల అప్గ్రేడేషన్, కారుణ్య నియామకాలు, కొత్త బస్సుల కొనుగోలు వంటి చర్యల ద్వారా సంస్థను బలోపేతం చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుంది.
The Telangana government has announced a 2.1% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for RTC employees, raising it from 50.7% to 52.8%. The revised DA will be implemented from January 1, 2026.
Officials stated that pending DA arrears for the past three months will be cleared through supplementary bills. The RTC management indicated that the hike will impose an additional monthly burden of around ₹2.82 crore on the corporation.
The decision was announced during a review meeting chaired by Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, where regional managers were directed to expedite pending works.
The government reiterated its focus on employee welfare, highlighting initiatives such as hospital upgrades, compassionate appointments, and procurement of new buses to strengthen the RTC system across Telangana.
