Bihar DSP Disproportionate Assets Case
బిహార్లో డీఎస్పీ గౌతమ్ కుమార్పై భారీ అక్రమాస్తుల ఆరోపణలు వెలుగులోకి వచ్చాయి. ఆస్తులు భార్యతో పాటు గర్ల్ఫ్రెండ్, పనిమనిషి పేర్లపై కూడా ఉన్నట్లు దర్యాప్తులో తేలింది.
A Bihar DSP, Gautam Kumar, has come under scrutiny after massive disproportionate assets were uncovered. Properties were allegedly registered not only in his wife’s name but also in the names of his girlfriend and domestic help.
బిహార్లోని కిషన్గంజ్ సబ్ డివిజన్లో డీఎస్పీగా పనిచేస్తున్న గౌతమ్ కుమార్ నివాసంపై ఎకనామిక్ అఫెన్సెస్ యూనిట్ దాడులు నిర్వహించింది. ఈ సోదాల్లో ఆయన బిహార్, నోయిడా, పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్ ప్రాంతాల్లో సుమారు 36 ఆస్తులు కూడబెట్టినట్లు గుర్తించారు. ప్రాథమిక అంచనా ప్రకారం ఈ ఆస్తుల విలువ రూ. 80 కోట్లకు పైగా ఉన్నట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
The Economic Offences Unit conducted raids at the residence of DSP Gautam Kumar, posted in Kishanganj subdivision. Investigators found that he allegedly accumulated 36 properties across Bihar, Noida, and West Bengal, with an estimated value exceeding ₹80 crore.
దర్యాప్తులో అత్యంత సంచలన అంశం ఏమిటంటే, ఆయన కుటుంబ సభ్యుల పేర్లతో పాటు గర్ల్ఫ్రెండ్, ఇంట్లో పనిచేసే పనిమనిషి పేర్లపై కూడా ఆస్తులు నమోదు చేసినట్లు బయటపడింది. పనిమనిషికి పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్లో కోటి రూపాయల విలువ చేసే ఇల్లు ఉండగా, ఆమె రూ. 35 లక్షల విలువైన వాహనంలో తిరుగుతున్నట్లు గుర్తించారు. ఆమె ఇంట్లో రూ. 6 లక్షల విలువైన ఆభరణాలు కూడా లభించాయి.
A major revelation in the probe is that assets were allegedly registered in the names of his girlfriend and domestic help. The domestic worker reportedly owns a house worth ₹1 crore in West Bengal and uses a high-value vehicle. Jewellery worth several lakhs was also recovered during searches.
అధికారుల ప్రకారం, గౌతమ్ కుమార్ తన సేవా కాలంలో పొందిన జీతంతో పోలిస్తే అనేక రెట్లు అధికంగా అక్రమంగా సంపాదించినట్లు అనుమానం వ్యక్తమవుతోంది. ప్రస్తుతం ఆయనపై విచారణ కొనసాగుతోంది.
Officials suspect that his illegal earnings are many times higher than his legitimate income. The investigation is ongoing to determine the full extent of the assets and possible legal action.
ఈ ఘటనతో ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగుల్లో అవినీతి అంశంపై మరోసారి చర్చ మొదలైంది. అధికారి స్థాయిలో ఇలాంటి కేసులు వెలుగులోకి రావడం ప్రజల్లో ఆందోళనకు దారితీస్తోంది.
