Basara Temple Development Plan Reviewed in Telangana
నిర్మల్ జిల్లా బాసరలోని జ్ఞాన సరస్వతి ఆలయ అభివృద్ధి కోసం రూపొందించిన మాస్టర్ ప్లాన్ను ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి పరిశీలించారు. భక్తుల విశ్వాసాలను కాపాడుతూ, ఆగమ శాస్త్రం ప్రకారం అభివృద్ధి జరగాలని సూచించారు.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reviewed the master plan for the development of Basara Gnana Saraswati temple in Nirmal district, emphasizing that works must respect devotees’ faith and follow Agama traditions.
నిర్మల్ జిల్లాలో గోదావరి నది ఒడ్డున ఉన్న ఈ ఆలయాన్ని రూ.225 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది. దీనికి సంబంధించిన ప్రణాళికను అధికారులు వివరించగా, భవిష్యత్ అవసరాలు, భక్తుల రద్దీని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని సదుపాయాలను విస్తరించాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. ఆలయ అభివృద్ధి పనులకు 6వ తేదీన శంకుస్థాపన చేయనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
భక్తులకు ఇబ్బందులు లేకుండా విశాల రహదారులు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని, ఆలయ పవిత్రతకు భంగం కలగకుండా కఠిన నిబంధనలు అమలు చేయాలని అధికారులకు ఆదేశించారు. ఆలయ పరిసరాల్లో ఎలాంటి రాజకీయ కార్యకలాపాలకు తావు లేకుండా నిబంధనలు ఉండాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
తిరుమల తరహాలో ఆలయ ప్రాంతంలో ఈవీ వాహనాల వినియోగాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించాలని సూచించారు. భక్తులకు మెరుగైన అనుభవం కల్పించే విధంగా సదుపాయాలు కల్పించాలని తెలిపారు.
సమావేశంలో మంత్రి కొండా సురేఖ, ప్రభుత్వ సలహాదారు పి. సుదర్శన్ రెడ్డి, ఎంపీ వేమనరేందర్ రెడ్డి, సీఎస్ రామకృష్ణారావు, ప్రిన్సిపల్ సెక్రటరీలు మరియు ఇతర ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
The Telangana government has proposed a ₹225 crore development plan for the temple located on the banks of the Godavari river. Officials presented the plan, and the Chief Minister suggested expanding infrastructure considering future needs and increasing pilgrim footfall. The foundation stone for the works is expected to be laid on the 6th.
He directed officials to ensure wider roads for smooth movement of devotees and enforce strict regulations to preserve the sanctity of the temple. The Chief Minister also stressed that no political activities should be allowed in temple surroundings.
Taking inspiration from Tirumala, the government is planning to allow only electric vehicles in the temple premises. The aim is to provide a better and eco-friendly experience for pilgrims.
Several ministers, senior officials, and public representatives attended the review meeting.
