హైదరాబాద్లో ఆస్తి పన్ను బకాయిలపై 90 శాతం వడ్డీ రాయితీ కల్పిస్తూ గ్రేటర్ హైదరాబాద్ మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్ కీలక ప్రకటన చేసింది. వన్ టైం సెటిల్మెంట్ పథకం కింద ఈ నెల 31 వరకు చెల్లించిన వారికి మాత్రమే ఈ రాయితీ వర్తిస్తుందని జీహెచ్ఎంసీ కమిషనర్ ఆర్.వి. కర్ణన్ తెలిపారు.
జీహెచ్ఎంసీ పరిధిలోని గృహ యజమానులు తమ ఆస్తి పన్ను బకాయిలను వెంటనే చెల్లించి ఈ అవకాశాన్ని వినియోగించుకోవాలని అధికారులు సూచించారు. గడువు ముగిసిన తర్వాత ఎటువంటి రాయితీ ఉండదని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
2025–26 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికి సంబంధించిన బకాయిలపై ఈ ఓటీఎస్ పథకం అమల్లో ఉందని తెలిపారు. పన్ను చెల్లింపులు పూర్తిగా ఆన్లైన్ ద్వారా మాత్రమే స్వీకరిస్తామని అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు.
పన్ను చెల్లింపులు జీహెచ్ఎంసీ అధికారిక వెబ్సైట్, మైసిటిజన్ యాప్, మీ సేవ కేంద్రాలు, సిటిజన్ సర్వీస్ సెంటర్ల ద్వారా చేయవచ్చని తెలిపారు. నగర అభివృద్ధికి సహకరించేలా పన్నులు సకాలంలో చెల్లించాలని కమిషనర్ పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
ఆస్తి పన్ను బకాయిలు చెల్లించని వారిపై జీహెచ్ఎంసీ చట్టం ప్రకారం కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని హెచ్చరించారు.

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has announced a 90% waiver on interest for pending property tax dues under the One-Time Settlement (OTS) scheme. GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan stated that the benefit is applicable only to those who clear their dues on or before the 31st of this month.
Officials urged property owners within GHMC limits to clear their outstanding dues immediately to avail of the concession. The Commissioner clarified that no extension will be provided beyond the deadline.
The OTS scheme applies to arrears related to the 2025–26 financial year. Authorities stated that payments will be accepted only through online modes.
Citizens can pay their dues via the official GHMC website, the MyGHMC (MyCURE) app, MeeSeva centres, and Citizen Service Centres. The Commissioner appealed to residents to pay property taxes on time and contribute to city development.
He also warned that strict action will be taken under the GHMC Act against defaulters who fail to clear their dues within the stipulated time.
