Telangana Launches 39 Job Courses
తెలంగాణలో విద్యార్థులకు చదువు పూర్తయ్యగానే ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు కల్పించేందుకు 39 కొత్త జాబ్ ఓరియెంటెడ్ కోర్సులను ప్రవేశపెట్టనుండగా, నైపుణ్యాల లోటును తగ్గించడమే లక్ష్యంగా చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నారు; Telangana is set to introduce 39 job-oriented courses to ensure employment opportunities immediately after graduation, aiming to bridge the skill gap in the job market.
రాష్ట్రంలో వచ్చే విద్యా సంవత్సరం (2026–27) నుంచి డిగ్రీ, పీజీ స్థాయిలలో 39 కొత్త కోర్సులను ప్రవేశపెట్టనున్నట్లు తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఉన్నత విద్యామండలి వెల్లడించింది. ఈ కోర్సులు పూర్తిచేసిన వెంటనే విద్యార్థులు ఉద్యోగాల్లో చేరేలా ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
From the academic year 2026–27, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education plans to introduce 39 new courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, designed to make students job-ready immediately after completion.
ప్రస్తుతం ప్రతి ఏడాది లక్షలాది మంది విద్యార్థులు చదువులు పూర్తి చేసినప్పటికీ, అవసరమైన నైపుణ్యాలు లేకపోవడంతో ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు కోల్పోతున్నారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో విద్యార్థులు మరియు పరిశ్రమల అవసరాల మధ్య ఉన్న గ్యాప్ను తగ్గించేందుకు ఈ కోర్సులను రూపొందిస్తున్నారు.
Every year, lakhs of students graduate but struggle to secure jobs due to lack of industry-relevant skills. The new courses aim to bridge this gap between academic learning and industry requirements.
టీజీసీహెచ్ఈ ఛైర్మన్ ప్రొఫెసర్ వి. బాలకిష్టారెడ్డి ప్రకారం, ఈ కోర్సుల సిలబస్ను జూన్–జులై నాటికి సిద్ధం చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నారు. విద్యార్థులు, ప్రొఫెసర్లతో జరిగిన చర్చల్లో పలు సూచనలు స్వీకరించినట్లు తెలిపారు.
According to TGCHE Chairman Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, the syllabus for these courses will be finalized by June–July, incorporating inputs from students and faculty discussions.
ఈ కొత్త కోర్సులు తెలంగాణ విజన్ 2047లో భాగంగా నిరుద్యోగాన్ని తగ్గించడంపై దృష్టి సారిస్తున్నాయి. పబ్లిక్-ప్రైవేట్ పార్ట్నర్షిప్ (PPP) మోడల్ ద్వారా భారీ పెట్టుబడులను ఆకర్షించడమే లక్ష్యంగా ప్రభుత్వం ముందుకు సాగుతోంది.
These initiatives align with Telangana Vision 2047, focusing on reducing unemployment and attracting investments through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
ఏరోస్పేస్, డిఫెన్స్, ఫిన్టెక్, క్లైమేట్ సైన్స్, లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్, ఫుడ్ టెక్నాలజీ వంటి రంగాలకు ప్రాధాన్యత ఇవ్వనున్నారు. హైదరాబాద్ను ఫార్మా, ఏరోస్పేస్, లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్ హబ్గా అభివృద్ధి చేయడంలో ఈ కోర్సులు కీలక పాత్ర పోషిస్తాయని అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు.
Key focus areas include aerospace, defense, fintech, climate science, life sciences, and food technology. Officials say these courses will play a major role in developing Hyderabad as a hub in these sectors.
విద్యార్థులకు ప్రాక్టికల్స్, ఇంటర్న్షిప్స్, ఫీల్డ్ వర్క్, ఇండస్ట్రీ ప్రాజెక్ట్లు తప్పనిసరి చేయడంతో పాటు, వాటికి క్రెడిట్ సిస్టమ్ను అమలు చేయనున్నారు. అలాగే గ్రామీణ విద్యార్థుల కోసం అగ్రికల్చర్, రూరల్ డెవలప్మెంట్ వంటి ప్రత్యేక కోర్సులు కూడా ప్రవేశపెడుతున్నారు.
Students will undergo mandatory practicals, internships, fieldwork, and industry projects with a credit-based system. Special courses for rural students in agriculture and rural development will also be introduced.
