Revanth Reddy Urges Officials to Ensure Welfare Delivery Under 99-Day Prajapalana Programme
రాష్ట్రంలో అర్హులైన పేదలందరికీ సంక్షేమ పథకాలు చేరేలా “ప్రజాపాలన – ప్రగతి ప్రణాళిక” 99 రోజుల కార్యాచరణను ప్రభుత్వం అమలు చేస్తోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి తెలిపారు. ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు బాధ్యతతో పనిచేస్తే చివరి పేదవాడి వరకు సంక్షేమ ఫలాలు చేరుతాయని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the government has launched the 99-day “Prajapalana – Pragati Pranalika” programme to ensure welfare schemes reach all eligible poor people in the state, urging government employees to work responsibly so benefits reach the last mile.
రాష్ట్రంలోని అర్హులైన పేదలందరికీ సంక్షేమ పథకాలు చేరేలా ప్రభుత్వం “ప్రజాపాలన – ప్రగతి ప్రణాళిక” పేరుతో 99 రోజుల కార్యాచరణను చేపట్టిందని A. Revanth Reddy తెలిపారు. ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఒక దీక్షగా తీసుకుని పని చేస్తే పేదలకు ప్రత్యక్షంగా, పరోక్షంగా మేలు జరుగుతుందని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు బాధ్యతతో వ్యవహరిస్తేనే చివరి పేదవాడి వరకు సంక్షేమ ఫలాలు చేరుతాయని సీఎం తెలిపారు. ఈ 99 రోజుల ప్రణాళికలో ఒక్కరోజు కూడా నిర్లక్ష్యం చేయవద్దని ఆయన సూచించారు. ఒక రోజు నిర్లక్ష్యం వల్ల పలు పేద కుటుంబాలకు న్యాయం జరగకుండా ఉండొచ్చని ఆయన అన్నారు. ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులే ప్రభుత్వానికి కళ్లు, చెవులు, బ్రాండ్ అంబాసిడర్లు అని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఎస్సీ ఉపకులాల వర్గీకరణకు చట్టబద్ధత కల్పించిన నేపథ్యంలో మాదిగ ఉద్యోగుల కోఆర్డినేషన్ కమిటీ ఆధ్వర్యంలో హైదరాబాద్లోని శిల్పకళా వేదికలో సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డికి అభినందన సభ నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించినందుకు ఆయన ఆనందం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
దళితుల హక్కులను రక్షించడానికి ప్రభుత్వం కట్టుబడి ఉందని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు. వచ్చే అంబేద్కర్ జయంతి లోపు మాదిగల ఆత్మగౌరవ భవన్ నిర్మాణానికి అవసరమైన నిధులను మంజూరు చేస్తామని ఆయన తెలిపారు. చట్టబద్ధంగా లభించిన హక్కులను కాపాడుకోవడం సమాజం బాధ్యత అని ఆయన అన్నారు.
ఎస్సీ ఉపకులాల వర్గీకరణ అంశం ఎన్నో దశాబ్దాలుగా కొనసాగుతున్నదని, దీని కోసం పలువురు పోరాటాలు కూడా చేశారని సీఎం గుర్తుచేశారు. ఈ అంశంలో తాను ఎప్పటి నుంచో మద్దతు ఇస్తూ వచ్చానని, రాజకీయ ఒత్తిడులు ఉన్నప్పటికీ బలహీన వర్గాలకు అండగా నిలిచానని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
సుప్రీంకోర్టు ఆదేశాల అనంతరం ఎస్సీ వర్గీకరణ అమలు చేసిన తొలి రాష్ట్రం తెలంగాణ అని ఆయన తెలిపారు. అయితే వర్గీకరణ ఒక్కటే అన్ని సమస్యలకు పరిష్కారం కాదని, ఉద్యోగాలు, ప్రమోషన్లు, ఉన్నత విద్య, భూముల రక్షణ వంటి అంశాలపై కూడా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని అన్నారు.
ప్రతి నెల వేల మంది ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు పదవీ విరమణ చేస్తున్నారని, వారి రిటైర్మెంట్ బెనిఫిట్స్ కోసం భారీ మొత్తాలు ఖర్చు చేయాల్సి వస్తోందని ఆయన తెలిపారు. ఆర్థిక పరిమితులు ఉన్నప్పటికీ సమన్వయం చేసుకుంటూ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని నడిపిస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. అక్రమాలను అరికట్టి ఖజానాకు ఆదాయం తీసుకురావడంలో ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు కీలక పాత్ర పోషించాలని ఆయన సూచించారు.
దళిత సమాజ అభివృద్ధికి విద్య అత్యంత ముఖ్యమని సీఎం అన్నారు. విద్య ద్వారానే జీవితాల్లో స్థిరమైన మార్పు వస్తుందని పేర్కొంటూ, నాణ్యమైన విద్య అందించేందుకు విద్యా రంగంలో సంస్కరణలు చేపడుతున్నామని తెలిపారు.

He said responsible functioning of government staff is crucial for delivering welfare benefits to the last person in society. Even a single day of negligence could deny justice to several poor families, he noted, adding that government employees act as the eyes, ears and representatives of the administration.
The Chief Minister was speaking at a felicitation programme organised by the Madiga Employees Coordination Committee at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad following the legal recognition of SC sub-caste categorisation.
During the event, he reiterated that the government remains committed to protecting the rights of Dalits and other marginalized communities. He announced that funds would be allocated for constructing the Madiga Atmagaurava Bhavan before the next Ambedkar Jayanti.
Reddy said the issue of SC sub-caste categorisation had remained unresolved for decades and that many people had struggled for it. He added that despite political pressure, he supported the cause as a matter of justice for weaker sections.
He also stated that Telangana became the first state in the country to implement SC categorisation after the directions of the Supreme Court. However, he noted that categorisation alone would not solve all issues and further steps were needed in areas such as promotions, higher education and land protection.
Highlighting financial challenges, the Chief Minister said thousands of government employees retire every month and the state has to provide large retirement benefits. Despite fiscal constraints, the government is managing the administration while focusing on development and welfare.
He emphasized that education remains the key to the progress of Dalit communities and said the government is working on reforms in the education sector to provide quality learning opportunities
