కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక మంత్రి నిర్మలా సీతారామన్ లోక్సభలో కేంద్ర బడ్జెట్పై విస్తృత వివరణ ఇచ్చారు. ఉద్యోగావకాశాల సృష్టి, బయోఫార్మా రంగ అభివృద్ధి, అధిక మూలధన వ్యయం (క్యాపెక్స్)కు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇచ్చినట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ వివరాలను ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ తన అధికారిక ఎక్స్ ఖాతాలో షేర్ చేశారు.
కార్మికాధారిత రంగాలకు ప్రోత్సాహం అందించడమే కాకుండా, రాష్ట్రాలకు పన్ను వాటాలో పెంపు ద్వారా ఆర్థిక వికేంద్రీకరణను బలోపేతం చేస్తున్నామని మంత్రి తెలిపారు. మెగా టెక్స్టైల్ పార్కుల అభివృద్ధిలో రాష్ట్రాలతో కలిసి పనిచేయడానికి కేంద్రం సిద్ధంగా ఉందని వెల్లడించారు.
బడ్జెట్లోని కీలక అంశాలను సరళీకృతం చేయడానికి చర్యలు తీసుకున్నామని, పెట్టుబడులను ఆకర్షించే విధంగా విధానాలను రూపొందించినట్టు వివరించారు. బయోఫార్మా వంటి భవిష్యత్ రంగాలకు మద్దతు ఇచ్చి దేశ ఆర్థిక వృద్ధికి పునాది వేయడం లక్ష్యమని చెప్పారు.
The Union Budget prioritises job creation, biopharma growth and higher capital expenditure, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said while replying in the Lok Sabha. The update was shared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his official X account.
The Finance Minister highlighted a push towards labour-intensive sectors, enhanced capital expenditure and greater tax devolution to states. She said the Centre is willing to work with states to develop mega textile parks and streamline key aspects of the Budget.
According to her, the measures are aimed at strengthening economic fundamentals, attracting investments and accelerating growth in emerging sectors such as biopharma.
