Revanth Reddy Inspects Mir Alam Tank
హైదరాబాద్ మీరాలం ట్యాంక్ను ప్రముఖ పర్యాటక కేంద్రంగా అభివృద్ధి చేసే పనులను ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆకస్మికంగా తనిఖీ చేశారు. పనుల పురోగతిని పరిశీలించిన ఆయన, నిర్ణీత గడువులోగా పూర్తి చేసి పర్యాటకులను ఆకట్టుకునేలా ప్రాజెక్టును తీర్చిదిద్దాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
మీరాలం ట్యాంక్ అభివృద్ధి ప్రణాళికలో భాగంగా కొనసాగుతున్న పనులను ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఒక్కొక్కటిగా పరిశీలించారు. పనుల పురోగతిపై ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ఫొటో ప్రదర్శనను పరిశీలించి, అధికారులు ప్రణాళికలు, పనుల వివరాలను సీఎంకు వివరించారు. అనంతరం ప్రాజెక్టు రూపకల్పన, అభివృద్ధి పనులపై అధికారులకు పలు సూచనలు చేశారు.
మీరాలం ట్యాంక్ చుట్టూ జరుగుతున్న అభివృద్ధి పనులను సీఎం ఓపెన్టాప్ జీపులో ప్రయాణిస్తూ పరిశీలించారు. చెరువుపై నిర్మిస్తున్న సస్పెన్షన్ బ్రిడ్జి పనులను భారీ క్రేన్ సహాయంతో పైకి వెళ్లి పరిశీలించారు.
చెరువులోకి మురుగు నీరు చేరకుండా అవసరమైన అన్ని చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. అలాగే వరద నీరు చెరువు నుంచి మూసీలోకి సాఫీగా వెళ్లేలా నాలాను విస్తరించాలని సూచించారు.
మీరాలం ట్యాంక్ను పర్యాటకులకు మరింత ఆకర్షణీయంగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు వాటర్ స్పోర్ట్స్కు అనువైన ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. చెరువు మధ్యలో ఉన్న దీవులను కూడా ఆకర్షణీయంగా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని చెప్పారు. అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయానికి సమీపంలో ఉన్నందున మీరాలం ట్యాంక్, పరిసర ప్రాంతాలను పర్యాటకులకు ఆకట్టుకునేలా రూపొందించాలని అధికారులకు సూచించారు.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆకస్మిక తనిఖీ సందర్భంగా మూసీ రివర్ఫ్రంట్ డెవలప్మెంట్ కార్పొరేషన్, హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో వాటర్ వర్క్స్, మున్సిపల్ శాఖలకు చెందిన ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conducted a surprise inspection of the ongoing works to develop Hyderabad’s Mir Alam Tank as a major tourist destination. He reviewed the progress and directed officials to complete the works within the stipulated deadline while ensuring an attractive design for visitors.
The Chief Minister inspected the various components of the development project and reviewed a photo exhibition showcasing the ongoing works. Officials briefed him on the plans and progress, following which he issued several directions for the project.
Reddy travelled around the tank in an open-top jeep to review the overall development works. He also inspected the construction of the suspension bridge being built over the tank, including the work at height with the assistance of a heavy crane.
Officials were directed to take all necessary measures to prevent sewage from entering the tank. The Chief Minister also instructed them to widen the nala so that floodwater can flow from the tank into the Musi River efficiently.
The Chief Minister suggested developing facilities for water sports to enhance the tourism potential of the tank and making the islands located in the middle of the tank more attractive. Given the tank’s proximity to the international airport, he directed officials to develop Mir Alam Tank and its surroundings in a manner that would appeal to tourists.
Senior officials from the Musi Riverfront Development Corporation, Hyderabad Metro Water Works and municipal departments were present during the inspection.
