ఖైరతాబాద్ గణేష్ ఉత్సవాలతో తనకు 13 ఏళ్ల అనుబంధం ఉందని డీజీపీ సీవీ ఆనంద్ తెలిపారు. సెంట్రల్ జోన్ డీసీపీగా పనిచేసిన కాలం నుంచి ఖైరతాబాద్ గణేష్ ఉత్సవాలు, శోభాయాత్ర, నిమజ్జన ఏర్పాట్లను పర్యవేక్షిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.
ఖైరతాబాద్ బడా గణేష్ నిమజ్జనం సెప్టెంబర్ 25 మధ్యాహ్నం నాటికి పూర్తయ్యేలా ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తున్నట్లు డీజీపీ తెలిపారు. హైదరాబాద్ నగరంతో పాటు సీయూఆర్ఈ పరిధిలోని ఇతర కమిషనరేట్లలో పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో గణేష్ విగ్రహాల నిమజ్జనం జరగనుంది.
నిమజ్జన కార్యక్రమాల సందర్భంగా భద్రత, ట్రాఫిక్ నిర్వహణ కోసం దాదాపు 20 వేల మంది పోలీసు సిబ్బందిని మోహరించినట్లు తెలిపారు. మహిళల భద్రతపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారిస్తూ ప్రత్యేక బృందాలను కూడా రంగంలోకి దించినట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
హైదరాబాద్లో సెప్టెంబర్ 25న జరిగే తుది గణేష్ నిమజ్జనానికి సంబంధించి సుమారు 20 వేల మంది పోలీసులను మోహరించినట్లు తాజా పోలీస్ వివరాలను ఉటంకిస్తూ ది హిందూ, పీటీఐ నివేదికలు కూడా పేర్కొన్నాయి. నిమజ్జన మార్గాల్లో 10 వేలకుపైగా సీసీటీవీ కెమెరాలు, 24 డ్రోన్లతో నిఘా ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు వెల్లడైంది.
తెలంగాణవ్యాప్తంగా గణేష్ ఉత్సవాలు తుది దశకు చేరుకున్నాయి. వివిధ చెరువులు, జలాశయాలు, ఇతర నిమజ్జన ప్రాంతాల్లో విగ్రహాల నిమజ్జనం కొనసాగుతోంది. ప్రధాన నిమజ్జన ప్రాంతాలు, బేబీ పాండ్ల వద్ద క్రేన్లు, ఇతర అవసరమైన పరికరాలను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.
తెలంగాణ పోలీసులతో పాటు సంబంధిత ప్రభుత్వ శాఖలు గత పది రోజులుగా నిరంతరం పనిచేస్తూ నిమజ్జన ఏర్పాట్లను పూర్తి చేస్తున్నాయని డీజీపీ తెలిపారు. సెప్టెంబర్ 25న జరిగే తుది నిమజ్జనానికి అన్ని విభాగాలు సమన్వయంతో సిద్ధమవుతున్నాయని చెప్పారు.
డీజీలు, బాణసంచా వినియోగాన్ని తగ్గించేందుకు ఉత్సవ కమిటీలు, ప్రజలు స్వచ్ఛందంగా ముందుకు రావడాన్ని డీజీపీ అభినందించారు. అధిక శబ్దంతో కూడిన డీజేలు భక్తులు, చిన్నారులు, వృద్ధులకు అసౌకర్యం కలిగించడంతో పాటు ఆరోగ్యపరమైన సమస్యలకు కారణమయ్యే అవకాశం ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
నిమజ్జనానికి వెళ్లే ప్రజలు సురక్షితంగా ప్రయాణించాలని, పోలీసు మరియు ఇతర ప్రభుత్వ శాఖలకు సహకరించాలని డీజీపీ విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ట్రాఫిక్ పోలీసులు జారీ చేసే సూచనలు, మార్గదర్శకాలను పాటించి ప్రయాణాలను ముందుగానే ప్రణాళిక చేసుకోవాలని కోరారు.
గణేష్ నిమజ్జనం మొత్తం ప్రభుత్వ యంత్రాంగం భాగస్వామ్యమయ్యే అతిపెద్ద కార్యక్రమాల్లో ఒకటని సీవీ ఆనంద్ తెలిపారు. ఉత్సవాలు, నిమజ్జన కార్యక్రమాలు శాంతియుతంగా, సురక్షితంగా, సజావుగా జరిగేలా అన్ని శాఖలు సమన్వయంతో పనిచేస్తున్నాయని చెప్పారు.
అత్యవసర పరిస్థితుల్లో ప్రజలు 112కు ఫోన్ చేయాలని సూచించారు.

Telangana Director General of Police C V Anand visited the Khairatabad Bada Ganesh and offered prayers for the peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Telangana.
The DGP said he has had a 13-year association with the Khairatabad Ganesh celebrations, beginning with his tenure as DCP, Central Zone. He said he has been overseeing the procession and immersion arrangements over the years.
The immersion of the Khairatabad Bada Ganesh is expected to be completed by the afternoon of September 25. Hyderabad is preparing for the final phase of the Ganesh immersion, with large numbers of idols expected to be taken to designated immersion points.
Nearly 20,000 police personnel have been deployed for security and traffic management for the final immersion arrangements. Special teams have also been deployed with a focus on the safety and security of women.
Recent police briefings reported by The Hindu and PTI said around 20,000 personnel would be deployed for the September 25 immersion, along with more than 10,000 CCTV cameras and 24 drones for surveillance.
Ganesh festivities across Telangana have entered the final phase, with idol immersions taking place at various water bodies. Cranes have been arranged at major immersion points and baby ponds, while traffic, security and other arrangements have been put in place.
The Telangana Police, along with other concerned government departments, has been working continuously on the arrangements and is fully geared up for the final immersion on September 25.
The DGP appreciated Utsav Samithis and members of the public for voluntarily coming forward to avoid DJs and firecrackers. He said excessive DJ sound can cause discomfort and may pose health concerns, particularly for devotees, children and senior citizens participating in the processions.
Anand appealed to people travelling for the immersion to follow safety precautions and extend full cooperation to the Police and other government departments.
He said Ganesh immersion is one of the largest events involving the entire government machinery. The coordinated efforts of different departments are aimed at ensuring that the celebrations and immersion process are conducted peacefully, safely and smoothly.
The DGP urged people to follow advisories issued by the Traffic Police and plan their journeys accordingly. In case of an emergency, the public can dial 112.
