Nenu Saitham 2.0
ఒక సీసీటీవీ కెమెరా ఏర్పాటు చేయడం కేవలం నిఘా పరికరాన్ని అమర్చడం కాదు.. నేరాల నివారణకు, నేరాల దర్యాప్తులో ఆధారాల సేకరణకు, ప్రజల భద్రతకు ఉపయోగపడే రక్షణ వ్యవస్థలో భాగస్వామ్యం కావడం. మల్కాజ్గిరి పోలీసుల ఆధ్వర్యంలో కొనసాగుతున్న ‘నేను సైతం 2.0’లో ప్రజల భాగస్వామ్యాన్ని మరింత పెంచేందుకు అవగాహన కల్పిస్తున్నారు.
‘నేను సైతం 2.0’ కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా ప్రజలు తమ ఇళ్లు, వాణిజ్య సంస్థలు, ఇతర కీలక ప్రాంతాల్లో సీసీటీవీ కెమెరాలు ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవాలని పోలీసులు సూచిస్తున్నారు. సీసీటీవీ నిఘా నేరాల నియంత్రణతో పాటు ఘటనల గుర్తింపు, దర్యాప్తును వేగవంతం చేయడంలో పోలీసులకు ఉపయోగపడుతుందని అధికారులు చెబుతున్నారు.
ప్రజల భాగస్వామ్యంతో భద్రతా వ్యవస్థను బలోపేతం చేయడమే ‘నేను సైతం 2.0’ ప్రధాన ఉద్దేశంగా నిలుస్తోంది. తమ ప్రాంత భద్రత కోసం ఏర్పాటు చేసే ప్రతి కెమెరా సమాజ భద్రతను పెంచడంలోనూ భాగస్వామ్యం అవుతుందని పోలీసులు పేర్కొంటున్నారు.

Installing a CCTV camera is not merely about mounting a device on a wall. It can contribute to crime prevention, provide evidence for investigations and strengthen public safety. Through the ‘Nenu Saitham 2.0’ initiative, Malkajgiri Police are encouraging greater community participation in strengthening local security.
As part of the initiative, citizens are being encouraged to install CCTV cameras at homes, commercial establishments and other key locations. Police officials have highlighted the role of CCTV surveillance in preventing and detecting crimes and in speeding up investigations.
The ‘Nenu Saitham 2.0’ initiative seeks to strengthen public safety through community participation. Cameras installed by citizens for the safety of their own premises can also contribute to the wider security of the neighbourhood.
