పత్తికొండలో ప్రబలుతున్న విషజ్వరాలు – ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రి రోగులతో కిటకిటలాడుతోంది
పత్తికొండ పట్టణం మరియు పరిసర గ్రామాల్లో డెంగ్యూ, మలేరియా, టైఫాయిడ్ వంటి విషజ్వరాలు ప్రజలను తీవ్రంగా వేధిస్తున్నాయి. ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రులు రోగులతో నిండిపోయాయి.
పత్తికొండ పట్టణంతో పాటు పరిసర గ్రామాల్లో జ్వరాలు ప్రబలుతున్నాయి. మలేరియా, డెంగ్యూ, టైఫాయిడ్‌తో పాటు వాంతులు, విరేచనాలు తీవ్ర స్థాయిలో ఉన్నాయి. ప్రతీ ఇంట్లో కనీసం ఇద్దరికి జ్వరం ఉందని ప్రజలు చెబుతున్నారు. దీంతో ప్రజలు మండల కేంద్రంలోని ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రికి భారీగా తరలివస్తున్నారు.
అయితే ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రుల్లో సరిగా చికిత్స అందక ప్రజలు ప్రైవేట్ ఆసుపత్రులు, ఆర్ఎంపీ డాక్టర్లను ఆశ్రయిస్తున్నారు. ఫలితంగా ప్రైవేట్ ఆసుపత్రులు వైద్యం పేరిట అధిక ధరలు వసూలు చేస్తున్నాయి. నిపుణులే కాకుండా శిక్షణ పొందని కొంతమంది ఆర్ఎంపీలు కూడా వైద్యం అందిస్తున్నారని ఆరోపణలు వచ్చాయి.
గ్రామాల్లో పారిశుద్ధ్యం లేకపోవడం, డ్రైనేజీలు కడుగుతున్న తీరుపై ప్రబలుతున్న దోమల వల్ల విషజ్వరాలు మరింత పెరుగుతున్నాయి. బ్లీచింగ్‌ చల్లడం, ఫాగింగ్‌ నిర్వహణ కూడా ప్రదర్శనలా మారిపోయాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ప్రజలు ప్రభుత్వ యంత్రాంగం జోక్యం చేయాలని కోరుతున్నారు.
Viral Fevers Spread in Pattikonda – Government Hospital Overflowing with Patients
Dengue, malaria, typhoid, and other viral fevers are severely affecting residents of Pattikonda town and surrounding villages. The government hospital is overwhelmed with patients.
The outbreak of fevers in Pattikonda and nearby villages has raised concerns, as multiple households report two or more members suffering from illness. In addition to fevers, vomiting and diarrhea are also widespread.
Due to inadequate care in the government hospital, many residents are turning to private clinics and RMP (Registered Medical Practitioner) doctors for treatment. Exploiting the situation, some private hospitals and untrained RMP doctors are allegedly charging exorbitant fees, drawing public criticism.
Poor sanitation and stagnant drainage water in the villages have led to a rise in mosquito populations, which is contributing to the spread of vector-borne diseases. Bleaching and fogging operations are either insufficient or symbolic, with no consistent action on the ground.
Residents are urging government intervention and better healthcare facilities to tackle the ongoing health crisis.
