The State CCLA Commissioner Lokesh Kumar and Survey Settlement Commissioner Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu have issued orders to conduct a transparent inquiry into the resurvey data of landowners and pahani records, ensuring their authenticity, and to submit a detailed report within two days.
The instructions were given during a review meeting held via video conference on Thursday from Hyderabad, focusing on Komnapalli village in Beerpur mandal of Jagtial district, which has been taken as a pilot project for the resurvey. Jagtial Collector Satyaprasad, Additional Collector (Revenue) B.S. Latha, RDO Madhusudan, and Beerpur Tahsildar were among the attendees.
During the meeting, Lokesh Kumar directed officials to thoroughly inquire into the resurvey details and pahani records of Komnapalli village and submit a complete report to the Collector within 48 hours. He instructed that revenue and survey staff must conduct field visits and investigations as per the Collector’s guidance.
He made it clear that all officers should act transparently, legally, and in accordance with the established procedures while handling land-related issues. He also warned that any negligence by officials would be solely their responsibility, and strict action would be taken in such cases.
