ఖాజీపేట అడవుల్లోకి అక్రమంగా చొరబడిన ముగ్గురిని టాస్క్ ఫోర్స్ పోలీసులు అరెస్ట్ చేశారు. పిడిలేని గొడ్డళ్లు, రంపాలు, వంట సామగ్రితో పాటు వారు వచ్చిన కారును కూడా సీజ్ చేశారు.

కడప జిల్లా పొద్దుటూరు అటవీ విభాగంలోని ఖాజీపేట సెక్షన్‌లో టాస్క్ ఫోర్స్ పోలీసులు సోమవారం తనిఖీలు నిర్వహించారు. ఆర్ఎస్ఐ ఎం. మురళీధర్ రెడ్డి బృందం కన్నెలవాగు వద్దకు చేరుకున్న సమయంలో ఓ కారులోంచి కొంతమంది దిగుతున్నట్లు గమనించారు. వారిని ముట్టడించిన సమయంలో పారిపోవడానికి యత్నించిన ముగ్గురిని పోలీసులు వెంబడి పట్టుకున్నారు.
తద్వారా వారిని తమిళనాడు వాసులుగా గుర్తించారు. వారి కారులో మూడు పిడిలేని గొడ్డళ్లు, మూడు రంపాలు, మూడు బ్యాగులు, వంటచేసే సామగ్రి స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. అడవిలో వేట కోసం వారు వచ్చినట్లు పోలీసులు అనుమానం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.
ఈ ముగ్గురిని తిరుపతి టాస్క్ ఫోర్స్ పోలీసు స్టేషన్‌కు తరలించి, కేసు నమోదు చేసినట్లు సీఐ సురేష్ కుమార్ తెలిపారు. ఘటనపై పూర్తి దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టినట్లు చెప్పారు. ఈ ఆపరేషన్‌లో డీఎస్పీలు శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి, షరీఫ్, ఏసీఎఫ్ జె. శ్రీనివాస్ పాల్గొన్నారు.

Three men were arrested by the Task Force police for illegally entering the forest area near Khajipet in Kadapa district. The police seized handle-less axes, digging tools, cooking equipment, and a car from the accused.
On Monday, the team led by RSI M. Muralidhar Reddy of the Task Force conducted checks in the Khajipet section under Proddatur forest range. While reaching the Kannela Vaagu area, they noticed some individuals alighting from a car. As the police tried to surround them, three men attempted to flee. However, the police chased and apprehended them.
The arrested individuals were identified as residents of Tamil Nadu. From their car, police recovered three handle-less axes, three digging tools (rampas), three bags, and cooking gear. The police suspect they may have entered the forest with hunting intentions.
The accused were taken to the Tirupati Task Force police station. CI Suresh Kumar confirmed that a case has been registered and investigation is underway. DSPs Srinivas Reddy and Shareef, along with ACF J. Srinivas, participated in the operation.
