రానున్న మూడు రోజులు తెలంగాణలో, ముఖ్యంగా హైదరాబాద్ సహా పలు జిల్లాల్లో భారీ నుంచి అతి భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉన్నందున ప్రభుత్వం అప్రమత్తమైంది. వాతావరణ శాఖ హెచ్చరికల నేపథ్యంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఉన్నతాధికారులు, జిల్లాల కలెక్టర్లతో వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ నిర్వహించి విపత్తు నివారణ చర్యలపై స్పష్టమైన ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు.
The Telangana government has gone on high alert as the IMD forecasts heavy to very heavy rains in several districts, including Hyderabad, over the next 72 hours. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, during a video conference with senior officials and district collectors, issued clear directions for disaster preparedness and preventive measures.
అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది సెలవులు రద్దు చేసి 24 గంటలు అందుబాటులో ఉండాలని, ప్రాణనష్టం, ఆస్తి నష్టం, పశు సంపద నష్టం జరగకుండా ముందస్తు చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని సీఎం ఆదేశించారు. ఆకస్మిక వర్షాలు, వరదలకు సిద్ధంగా ఉండటానికి అన్ని శాఖలు సమన్వయంతో పనిచేయాలని సూచించారు.
హైదరాబాద్తో పాటు వరద ముప్పు ఉన్న ప్రాంతాల్లో ట్రాఫిక్ నియంత్రణ, శిథిల భవనాల పరిశీలన, లోతట్టు ప్రాంతాల ప్రజల తరలింపు, ఐటీ సంస్థల్లో వర్క్ ఫ్రమ్ హోమ్ ప్రోత్సాహం వంటి చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని ఆదేశించారు. అవసరమైతే హెలికాప్టర్ల ద్వారా ఎయిర్ లిఫ్టింగ్కు సిద్ధం కావాలి.
గ్రేటర్ హైదరాబాద్, గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లో టోల్ ఫ్రీ హెల్ప్లైన్లు ఏర్పాటు చేసి, కమాండ్ కంట్రోల్ సెంటర్కు సమాచారం ఎప్పటికప్పుడు చేరేలా చూడాలి. విద్యుత్ అంతరాయాలపై తక్షణ స్పందన, మొబైల్ ట్రాన్స్ఫార్మర్లు, జనరేటర్లు సిద్ధంగా ఉంచాలి. తాగునీటి, డ్రైనేజీ సమస్యలు తలెత్తకుండా జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలి.
వైద్య ఆరోగ్య శాఖ అత్యవసర ఔషధాలు, సౌకర్యాలు సిద్ధంగా ఉంచాలి. చెరువులు, కుంటలు, ప్రాజెక్టుల భద్రతపై నీటి పారుదల శాఖ ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించాలి. ఏ శాఖకీ మినహాయింపు లేకుండా అన్ని విభాగాలు సమన్వయంతో పనిచేయాలని సీఎం స్పష్టం చేశారు.

The CM ordered that all officials and staff cancel leave and remain available 24/7, ensuring there is no loss of life, property, or livestock. He stressed that all departments must work in coordination to face sudden rains and potential flooding.
In flood-prone areas, including Hyderabad, measures such as traffic regulation, inspection of dilapidated buildings, evacuation of people from low-lying areas, and encouraging work-from-home for IT companies must be implemented. Helicopters should be kept ready for airlifting if necessary.
Toll-free helplines should be set up for Greater Hyderabad and rural areas, with real-time updates flowing to the Command Control Center. Immediate response teams must be prepared for power outages, with mobile transformers and generators on standby. Drinking water supply and drainage systems should be safeguarded against disruptions.
The Health Department should have emergency medicines and facilities ready, while the Irrigation Department must ensure the safety of reservoirs, lakes, and projects. The CM made it clear that no department is exempt from responsibility—all must work together in coordination.
