Ahead of the 2027 Census, Telangana has recorded major administrative restructuring, with the number of districts rising from 10 to 33 since state formation, reflecting rapid urbanisation and governance reforms.
2027 జనగణన దృష్ట్యా తెలంగాణలో పరిపాలనా పరమైన మార్పులు ప్రాధాన్యత సంతరించుకున్నాయి. రాష్ట్ర ఏర్పాటు సమయంలో ఉన్న 10 జిల్లాలను పరిపాలనా సౌలభ్యం కోసం దశలవారీగా 33 జిల్లాలుగా విస్తరించారు.
పెరుగుతున్న జనాభా, వేగంగా జరుగుతున్న పట్టణీకరణ, ప్రజలకు ప్రభుత్వ సేవలు మరింత చేరువ చేయాలనే లక్ష్యంతో ఈ మార్పులు చేపట్టినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు. కొత్త జిల్లాల ఏర్పాటుతో స్థానిక స్థాయిలో పరిపాలన బలోపేతం అయ్యిందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
అలాగే రెవెన్యూ డివిజన్లు, మండలాల పునర్విభజన కూడా చోటుచేసుకున్నాయి. ఈ మార్పులు జనగణన నిర్వహణను మరింత సమర్థవంతంగా చేయడానికి దోహదపడతాయని అధికారులు భావిస్తున్నారు.
The restructuring is expected to help in better data collection, targeted welfare implementation and improved governance planning during the Census exercise. Officials said updated administrative boundaries will make demographic assessment more accurate.
The changes also underline Telangana’s transformation as one of the fastest urbanising states, with Hyderabad and surrounding regions witnessing significant expansion.
