Telangana Clears ₹180.38 Cr Pending Medical Reimbursement Bills

తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ఉద్యోగులు, పెన్షనర్లకు శుభవార్త అందించింది. 180.38 కోట్ల రూపాయల మెడికల్ రీయింబర్స్మెంట్ పెండింగ్ బిల్లులను ఒకేసారి విడుదల చేసింది. డిప్యూటీ సీఎం, ఆర్థిక మంత్రి భట్టి విక్రమార్క మల్లు ఈ నిధులను విడుదల చేసి, వేలాది మంది ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు, పెన్షనర్లకు ఊరట కలిగించారు.
తీవ్ర ఆర్థిక ఇబ్బందులు ఒకవైపు, భారీ సంక్షేమ పథకాలు మరోవైపు ఉన్నప్పటికీ, ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగుల ఆరోగ్యాన్ని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ముఖ్యంగా గత ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో 04-03-2023 నుండి 20-06-2025 వరకు పెండింగ్‌లో ఉన్న బిల్లులను ఈసారి క్లియర్ చేశారు.
ఈ చర్యతో మొత్తం 26,519 మంది ఉద్యోగులు, పెన్షనర్లు లబ్ధి పొందారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకున్న ఈ నిర్ణయం ఉద్యోగుల ఆరోగ్య భద్రత పట్ల ఉన్న బాధ్యతను స్పష్టంగా చాటిచెప్పింది.

In a major relief to government employees and pensioners, the Telangana government has cleared pending medical reimbursement bills amounting to ₹180.38 crore in one go. Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu sanctioned the funds, giving priority to long-standing medical claims despite fiscal constraints and ongoing welfare schemes.
The cleared bills include long-pending claims from March 4, 2023, to June 20, 2025, many of which were inherited from the previous government. This move brought relief to 26,519 employees and pensioners across the state.
Officials said the government’s decision reflects its commitment to the health security of public servants, even in times of tight financial conditions.
