ఢిల్లీలో బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల సాధన కోసం తెలంగాణ కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రత్యేక రైలు ప్రయాణం ప్రారంభం
Special train departs from Charlapalli to Delhi with Telangana Congress BC leaders for reservation movement
ఢిల్లీకి బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల సాధన కోసం ప్రత్యేక రైలు ద్వారా తెలంగాణ కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు చర్లపల్లి రైల్వే స్టేషన్ నుంచి బయలుదేరారు. బీసీలకు 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ల కోసం రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా ‘చలో ఢిల్లీ’ ఉద్యమానికి పిలుపు ఇచ్చారు.
A special train carrying Telangana Congress leaders and BC representatives departed from Charlapalli Railway Station to Delhi as part of the ‘Chalo Delhi’ movement, demanding 42% reservations for Backward Classes beyond political boundaries.
ఐసీసీ ఇన్చార్జి మీనాక్షి నటరాజన్, పీసీసీ అధ్యక్షుడు మహేష్ కుమార్ గౌడ్, మంత్రులు పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్, వాకిటి శ్రీహరి ఇతర ముఖ్య నేతలతో కలిసి కార్యకర్తలు ప్రత్యేక రైలు ద్వారా ఢిల్లీకి ప్రయాణం చేశారు. ఆగస్టు 5, 6, 7 తేదీల్లో ఢిల్లీలో బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల సాధన కోసం తెలంగాణ కాంగ్రెస్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ప్రత్యేక కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించనున్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా మంత్రి పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ మాట్లాడుతూ – ‘‘తెలంగాణలో బీసీలకు 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పిస్తూ చట్టం చేసి గవర్నర్‌కు పంపాం. ఇప్పుడు ఆ బిల్లు రాష్ట్రపతి వద్ద ఉంది. వెంటనే ఆమోదించాలి. అన్ని రాజకీయ పార్టీల బీసీ నేతలు ఢిల్లీలో చేరాలి. ఇది ప్రతి బీసీ బిడ్డ హక్కు. తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం మాదిరిగా బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల సాధన కోసం కూడా ఉద్యమం జరగాలి’’ అన్నారు.
అన్ని కుల సంఘాలు ఐక్యంగా ముందుకు రావాలని, గాంధీ మార్గాన్ని అనుసరిస్తూ శాంతియుతంగా రిజర్వేషన్ల సాధన జరగాలన్నారు. బిల్లు ఆమోదంలో ఎవరైనా అడ్డుపడితే తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం తరహాలోనే ప్రజలు తిరగబడాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
ఇది రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా, ప్రతి బీసీ వర్గానికి చెందిన పౌరుని హక్కుగా భావించాలన్నారు.
With a single objective—to secure 42% reservations for the Backward Classes (BCs)—a special train was arranged from Charlapalli Railway Station in Hyderabad to Delhi under the leadership of the Congress party. The train journey marks a cross-party effort with leaders from various political backgrounds coming together for the cause.
AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Vakiti Srihari, along with several other senior leaders and activists, boarded the special train. The delegation plans to organize a series of programs in Delhi on August 4th, 6th, and 7th in support of the demand for BC reservations.
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar stated that the Telangana government has already prepared and sent a bill for 42% reservations for BCs to the Governor, and it is now pending with the President of India. He demanded that the President approve the BC reservation bill without delay.
He emphasized, “Just as the people united during the Telangana movement, we must also come together for the rightful demand of BC reservations. This issue goes beyond politics; it is the right of every BC child. If anyone tries to block the BC Bill, we will protest peacefully in the Gandhian way. We will secure the reservations that are rightfully ours.”
Ponnam Prabhakar also appealed to all caste associations and leaders from various political parties to support this movement. He clarified that the Telangana government has taken a legally sound and just decision after examining all relevant parameters.
