పెండింగ్ కేసుల సంఖ్య తగ్గించేందుకు తక్షణ చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని జిల్లా ఎస్పీ అశోక్ కుమార్ అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. గణేష్ ఉత్సవాలు, లోకల్ బాడీ ఎన్నికలు ప్రశాంతంగా జరగేందుకు భద్రతా ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేయాలన్నారు.
జగిత్యాల: జిల్లాలో పెండింగ్ కేసుల సంఖ్యను తగ్గించేందుకు ప్రణాళికాబద్ధంగా పని చేయాలని జిల్లా ఎస్పీ అశోక్ కుమార్ అధికారులకు సూచించారు. బుధవారం జిల్లా పోలీస్ ప్రధాన కార్యాలయంలో జరిగిన సమీక్షా సమావేశంలో ఆయన ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. గడిచిన ఆరు నెలల్లో జిల్లా పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ల పనితీరు, వివిధ రకాల నేరాల హెచ్చుతగ్గులపై సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు.
గత సంవత్సరం తో పోలిస్తే నేరాల పెరుగుదలపై కారణాలు తెలుసుకుంటూ, పెండింగ్ కేసులపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి పెట్టాలని ఆదేశించారు. కేసుల దర్యాప్తును వేగవంతం చేయాలని, తద్వారా న్యాయ ప్రక్రియను శీఘ్రతరం చేయాలని సూచించారు. DSPలు, CIలు తమ పరిధిలోని కేసులపై సమీక్షించి, సంబంధిత SIలకు అవసరమైన మార్గదర్శకాలు ఇవ్వాలని చెప్పారు.
మహిళల భద్రతపై ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ధ చూపాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని, మహిళలు, చిన్నపిల్లలపై అసభ్యంగా ప్రవర్తించిన వారిపై చట్టపరమైన కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని తెలిపారు. నేర నియంత్రణలో భాగంగా ప్రజలకు అవగాహన కల్పిస్తూ, కాలనీల్లో, గ్రామాల్లో సీసీ కెమెరాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని సూచించారు.
వర్షకాలం నేపథ్యంలో ప్రణాళికాబద్ధంగా స్పందించి ప్రజలకు ఇబ్బందులు తలెత్తకుండా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని, వరదలు, వర్షాలకు సంబంధించి ప్రజలను ముందుగానే హెచ్చరించాలన్నారు. దొంగతనాల నివారణకు ప్రతి సర్కిల్ పరిధిలో ప్రత్యేక బృందాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని, ప్రతి పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ పరిధిలో డ్రంక్ అండ్ డ్రైవ్ పరీక్షలు, వాహన తనిఖీలు రోజూ నిర్వహించాలని చెప్పారు.
SP Ashok Kumar Orders Quick Disposal of Pending Cases – Focus on Ganesh Festival Security and Local Elections
Jagtial: District SP Ashok Kumar has directed officials to take prompt action to reduce the number of pending criminal cases. On Wednesday, he conducted a review meeting at the District Police Headquarters, assessing the performance of all police stations over the past six months.
The SP reviewed trends in various types of crimes and instructed officers to analyze the increase in certain offenses compared to the previous year. He emphasized expediting investigations and minimizing delays in the justice process. DSPs and CIs were advised to review the status of cases under their jurisdiction regularly and guide the respective SIs.
Stressing women’s safety, the SP said strict legal action should be taken against those misbehaving with women or children. As part of crime prevention, he advised setting up CCTV cameras in urban colonies and villages and raising awareness among the public and business owners.
Considering the upcoming monsoon, he emphasized proactive planning to avoid public inconvenience and recommended continuous awareness campaigns on flood preparedness. To curb thefts, SP Ashok Kumar instructed the formation of special teams in every police circle. He also directed daily drunk-and-drive checks and vehicle inspections in all police station limits.
