Noida Airport: 100 New Airports Plan Announced

నోయిడాలో జరిగిన కార్యక్రమంలో మాట్లాడిన ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ, దేశంలో విమానయాన రంగాన్ని బలోపేతం చేసే దిశగా పలు చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) సేవలను భారత్లోనే భారీ స్థాయిలో అభివృద్ధి చేస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. దీనివల్ల దేశానికి ఆదాయం పెరగడంతో పాటు యువతకు ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు కూడా విస్తరించనున్నాయని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఇటీవల ప్రభుత్వం ఉడాన్ పథకాన్ని విస్తరించిందని, రాబోయే సంవత్సరాల్లో చిన్న పట్టణాల్లో 100 కొత్త విమానాశ్రయాలు, 200 హెలిప్యాడ్లు నిర్మించేందుకు ప్రణాళిక సిద్ధం చేశామని వెల్లడించారు. ఈ ప్రణాళిక వల్ల ప్రాంతీయ కనెక్టివిటీ మెరుగుపడటంతో పాటు రాష్ట్రాలకు అభివృద్ధి అవకాశాలు పెరుగుతాయని తెలిపారు.
నోయిడా ఇంటర్నేషనల్ ఎయిర్పోర్ట్ ప్రారంభం డబుల్ ఇంజిన్ ప్రభుత్వ సమన్వయానికి నిదర్శనమని మోదీ పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా సంక్షోభ పరిస్థితులు ఉన్నప్పటికీ భారత్ అభివృద్ధి దిశగా ముందుకు సాగుతోందని చెప్పారు. కార్యక్రమానికి భారీ సంఖ్యలో ప్రజలు హాజరుకావడం అభివృద్ధిపై ప్రజల ఆసక్తిని చూపుతోందని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at the Noida event, stated that the government is taking major steps to strengthen India’s aviation sector. He said that Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities are being developed within the country on a large scale, which will boost revenue and create employment opportunities for youth.
He also highlighted the expansion of the UDAN scheme, under which the government plans to develop 100 new airports and 200 new helipads in smaller cities in the coming years. This initiative aims to improve regional connectivity and accelerate economic growth across states.
Referring to the inauguration of the Noida International Airport, he said it reflects coordinated governance and a strong work culture. Despite global challenges, India continues to move forward on the path of development, he added. The large public turnout at the event, he noted, indicates strong public enthusiasm towards ongoing development initiatives.
