మహిళల ప్రయాణానికి ప్రత్యేక మార్పులతో సిద్ధమవుతున్న ఆర్టీసీ బస్సులు | RTC Buses Being Modified with Special Arrangements for Women Passengers
మహిళలకు ఉచిత ప్రయాణ సౌకర్యం కల్పించేందుకు ఆర్టీసీ బస్సుల్లో ప్రత్యేక మార్పులు చేపట్టింది కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం. RTC buses are being specially modified to implement the coalition government’s free travel scheme for women.
కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా తీసుకొచ్చిన మహిళల ఉచిత బస్సు ప్రయాణ పథకం అమలుకు ఆర్టీసీ విభాగం సిద్ధమవుతోంది. ఈ పథకం ఆగస్టు 15న ప్రారంభం కానుండగా, మహిళా ప్రయాణికుల సౌకర్యాన్ని దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని ఇప్పటికే బస్సుల్లో ప్రత్యేక ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తున్నారు.
కడప ఆర్టీసీ జోన్ పరిధిలోని 8 జిల్లాలకు చెందిన జోనల్ వర్క్‌షాపులో మొదటగా 150 బస్సుల్లో మార్పులు చేపట్టారు. ముఖ్యంగా బస్సు మధ్య భాగంలో ప్రత్యేక తలుపు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నారు, ఇది మహిళలకు సులభంగా ఎక్కేలా చేస్తుంది. అలాగే మహిళలకు సేట్లను పసుపు రంగుతో గుర్తించడమూ చేస్తారు, తద్వారా వారు సులభంగా తమకు ఉన్న సీట్లను గుర్తించగలుగుతారు.
ఈ మార్పులు ప్రయాణ సమయంలో సురక్షిత వాతావరణం కల్పించడానికే కాకుండా, ఉచిత ప్రయాణాన్ని మరింత అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురావడమే లక్ష్యంగా చేస్తున్నట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
The coalition government is preparing to implement the Free Bus Travel Scheme for Women, a flagship initiative aimed at empowering women commuters. As the scheme is set to launch on August 15, RTC officials have started making special arrangements in buses to ensure safe and convenient travel for women.
As part of this initiative, 150 buses under the Kadapa RTC Zone, which covers 8 districts, are currently undergoing modifications at the zonal workshop.
Key changes include installing a middle door in the buses to allow women easier access and painting designated seats in yellow to clearly identify women’s seating areas.
Officials state that these changes are designed not only to support the free travel policy but also to create a safer and more accessible travel experience for women passengers.
