ఏలూరు వద్ద జాతీయ రహదారిపై మినీవ్యాన్ ఓవర్టేక్ చేయబోయి అదుపుతప్పి లారీని ఢీకొట్టింది. ఈ ప్రమాదంలో 21 ఏళ్ల యువకుడు అక్కడికక్కడే మృతి చెందాడు.

పశ్చిమ గోదావరి జిల్లా ఏలూరు జాతీయ రహదారిపై గురువారం తెల్లవారుజామున ఘోర రోడ్ ప్రమాదం జరిగింది. మొక్కజొన్న లోడుతో వెళ్తున్న మినీవ్యాన్, ముందు వెళ్తున్న లారీని ఓవర్టేక్ చేయబోయి అదుపుతప్పి అదే లారీని వెనుక నుంచి ఢీకొంది. ఈ ఘటనలో వ్యాన్‌లో ప్రయాణిస్తున్న వ్యక్తి అక్కడికక్కడే మృతి చెందాడు.
పోలీసుల కథనం ప్రకారం, మృతుడిని తూర్పు గోదావరి జిల్లా జగ్గంపేట మండలానికి చెందిన వినయ్ కుమార్ (21)గా గుర్తించారు. ఈ ఘటన గుండుగొలను వద్ద జాతీయ రహదారిపై చోటుచేసుకుంది. ప్రమాద సమయంలో వ్యాన్ డ్రైవర్ సురేష్‌కు స్వల్ప గాయాలు అయ్యాయని సమాచారం. పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టారు.

A fatal road accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday on the national highway near Eluru in West Godavari district. According to police, a mini-van loaded with corn was trying to overtake a lorry when it lost control and collided with the same lorry from behind.
The impact was severe, resulting in the immediate death of a passenger in the van. The deceased was identified as Vinay Kumar (21), a native of Jaggampeta mandal in East Godavari district. The mini-van driver, Suresh, sustained minor injuries. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
