On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a massive rally was organized under the leadership of BJYM in Rajapur mandal of Jadcherla constituency. Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao participated in the rally and honored former Indian Army soldiers. He stated that the sacrifices of brave soldiers who gave their lives for the country’s protection will never be forgotten. Ramchander Rao extended heartfelt thanks to Mahabubnagar MP DK Aruna, district leaders, and all BJYM activists who organized the event.
Speaking at a media meet, Ramchander Rao paid tributes to the martyrs of the 1999 Kargil War, recalling how Pakistan-backed infiltrators tried to enter India and how the Indian Army courageously fought back under the leadership of then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He noted that the surgical strikes, air strikes, and other operations conducted by India were aimed at eliminating terrorism, and emphasized that the country has now changed—every youth and every citizen should be ready to protect the nation. He added that Kargil Vijay Diwas should inspire patriotism and nationalism among the youth.
