ఎల్లారెడ్డిపేట మండలంలోని రాగట్లపల్లి గ్రామ శివారులో చిరుత సంచరిస్తుండటంతో గ్రామంలో భయం నెలకొంది. చిరుతపులి అడవిలో నుంచి బయటకు వచ్చి పంట పొలాలు, రహదారుల వెంట సంచరించినట్లు స్థానికులు గుర్తించారు. గ్రామస్థులు, రైతులు చిరుతపులి తాళ్ళు, పంజా ముద్రలు గమనించి అటవీశాఖ అధికారులకు సమాచారం అందించారు. వెంటనే స్పందించిన అధికారులు అక్కడికి చేరుకుని ప‌రిశీలించారు. చిరుత సంచారం నేపథ్యంలో ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని, రాత్రివేళల తిరగవద్దని అధికారులు హెచ్చరించారు. పశువులు గిట్టెలో ఉంచాలని సూచించారు. చిరుత పట్టేందుకు కుడా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నట్లు అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు.

A leopard was reportedly spotted roaming near Ragathlapalli village on the outskirts of Ellareddypet mandal in Rajanna Siricilla district. Locals noticed pugmarks and tail marks in the fields and nearby areas, causing widespread concern. Forest officials, upon receiving information, rushed to the spot and examined the surroundings. They have urged residents and farmers to remain vigilant and avoid venturing out during nighttime. Authorities also advised safeguarding livestock in enclosures. Measures are being initiated to track and capture the leopard.
