సిరిసిల్ల: కాంగ్రెస్ పాలనలో పోలీస్ స్టేషన్లు ప్రజలకు న్యాయం చేయడానికి కాకుండా, సెటిల్‌మెంట్‌లకు అడ్డాగా మారాయని బీఆర్ఎస్ వర్కింగ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ కేటీఆర్ ఆరోపించారు. కాంగ్రెస్ నేత భూమి కబ్జా చేశాడని ఫిర్యాదు చేసిన బీఆర్ఎస్ నేత కర్కబోయిన కుంటయ్యపైనే పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసి వేధించడంతో ఆయన ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్నారని విమర్శించారు.
సివిల్ కేసుల్లో జోక్యం చేసుకుంటూ పోలీసులు అక్రమాలకు పాల్పడుతున్నారని కేటీఆర్ మండిపడ్డారు. కుంటయ్య కుటుంబాన్ని పరామర్శించిన కేటీఆర్, ఆ కుటుంబానికి పూర్తి మద్దతుగా ఉంటామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు. కుంటయ్య పిల్లల చదువులు, పెళ్లిళ్లు, కుటుంబ భవిష్యత్తు అన్నింటికీ బీఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీ అండగా ఉంటుందని చెప్పారు.
“మొన్నే హైదరాబాద్ వచ్చి ధైర్యం చెప్పిన కుంటయ్య ఆ రాత్రే ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవడం కలచివేసింది. పోలీస్ వ్యవస్థ అంతగా కుళ్ళిపోవడమే ఈ దారుణానికి కారణం. ఆయన మృతి వెనక ఉన్న వారిని వదిలిపెట్టం,” అని కేటీఆర్ హెచ్చరించారు.
కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులు చెప్పింది న్యాయంగా కాకున్నా డ్యూటీగా పాటిస్తున్న పోలీసులు ఇప్పుడు ప్రజలకు బదులివ్వాల్సిన సమయం వచ్చిందన్నారు. రాజకీయ ఒత్తిడిలో నిలవలేక పోయిన కుంటయ్య జీవితాంతం పార్టీకి అంకితమై పనిచేసిన నాయకుడని కొనియాడారు.

Sircilla: BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao accused the Congress government of misusing police stations as centers for private settlements instead of justice. Speaking after visiting the family of deceased BRS leader Karkaboyina Kuntaiah, KTR alleged that Kuntaiah was driven to suicide after police registered a counter-case against him, instead of acting on his complaint against a land grab by a Congress leader.
KTR blamed the police for interfering in civil matters and warned that those responsible for Kuntaiah’s death would not be spared. He assured that the BRS would fully support Kuntaiah’s family, including taking care of the children’s education and marriages. “During our 10-year rule, no BRS leader stooped to such petty behavior. This is a reflection of the collapse of law and order under Congress,” said KTR.
