ఈ సమయంలో హరిబాబు కత్తితో దాడి చేయడంతో వైష్ణవి తీవ్ర గాయాలతో అక్కడికక్కడే మృతి చెందినట్టు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.
సమాచారం అందుకున్న కొరుట్ల పోలీసులు ఘటనాస్థలికి చేరుకుని మృతదేహాన్ని పోస్టుమార్టం కోసం తరలించారు. అనంతరం నిందితుడిని అదుపులోకి తీసుకుని కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు ప్రారంభించారు.

A shocking murder of a pregnant woman in Korutla town of Jagtial district in Telangana has created concern locally, with police arresting the husband in connection with the crime.
The deceased was identified as Gandham Vaishnavi (20), who was reportedly pregnant. She was also known locally for creating videos on social media.
According to police, disputes had been taking place between Vaishnavi and her husband Haribabu (24), with dowry harassment suspected as one of the possible reasons behind the conflict.
Police said an argument reportedly broke out between the couple during the early hours, following which the accused allegedly attacked his wife with a knife inside their residence.
Vaishnavi died on the spot due to severe injuries. Police reached the scene after receiving information and shifted the body for post-mortem examination.
The accused was taken into custody and a murder case has been registered. Investigation is currently underway, police said.
