Gali Janardhan Reddy’s Son Kireeti Debuts with Sri Leela in Junior
జూనియర్ సినిమా ఒక మంచి ఫ్యామిలీ ఎమోషనల్ డ్రామా, ప్రేక్షకుల్ని టచ్ చేసే కోర్ ఎమోషన్ ఉన్న ఈ చిత్రం తప్పకుండా ఆడియన్స్‌కి కనెక్ట్ అవుతుందని డీవోపీ కె.కె. సెంథిల్ కుమార్ అన్నారు.

ప్రముఖ వ్యాపారవేత్త, రాజకీయ నాయకుడు గాలి జనార్ధన్ రెడ్డి కుమారుడు కిరీటి రెడ్డి హీరోగా రాధా కృష్ణ దర్శకత్వంలో నటిస్తున్న యూత్ ఎంటర్‌టైనర్ ‘జూనియర్’ జూలై 18న విడుదల కానుంది. శ్రీలీల హీరోయిన్‌గా నటిస్తున్న ఈ చిత్రాన్ని రజని కొర్రపాటి వారాహి చలనచిత్రం పతాకంపై నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. టీజర్, ట్రైలర్, పాటలు ఇప్పటికే మంచి స్పందన అందుకున్న ఈ చిత్రానికి స్టార్ సినిమాటోగ్రాఫర్ కె.కె. సెంథిల్ కుమార్ డీవోపీగా పని చేస్తున్నారు.
సినిమా విడుదల నేపథ్యంలో విలేకరులతో మాట్లాడిన సెంథిల్ కుమార్ మాట్లాడుతూ, “రాధాకృష్ణ చెప్పిన కథలో ఉండే స్ట్రాంగ్ ఎమోషన్ నన్ను ఆకట్టుకుంది. కొత్త హీరో అయినా ఫ్యామిలీ డ్రామా చేసేందుకు ఈ కథను ఎంచుకోవడం చాలాచాలా బాగుంది. సినిమా ఎమోషన్ ప్రధానంగా ఉండడం వల్లే ఆడియన్స్ తప్పకుండా కనెక్ట్ అవుతారు” అన్నారు.
హీరో కిరీటీ గురించి మాట్లాడుతూ, “అతను ఒక హార్డ్ వర్కర్. డ్యాన్స్, యాక్షన్, యాక్టింగ్ — అన్ని పాయింట్లలోనూ మంచి బ్యాలెన్స్ ఉంది. వన్ ఆఫ్ ది బెస్ట్ న్యూ కమ్మర్స్” అన్నారు. రాజమౌళితో చేసిన భారీ చిత్రాల తర్వాత ఈ సినిమా ఎంపికపై మాట్లాడుతూ, “అలాంటి ప్రాజెక్టుల తర్వాత ఇటువంటి ఫ్యామిలీ ఎమోషన్ డ్రామా చేయడం నాకు రిఫ్రెషింగ్ అనిపించింది” అన్నారు.
పాటలు, ట్రైలర్‌లకు వచ్చిన స్పందన బాగుందని, వైరల్ అయిన పాటల్లో కిరీటి-శ్రీలీల డ్యాన్స్ ఆకట్టుకుందని చెప్పారు. నిర్మాత సాయిపై ప్రశంసలు గుప్పించిన సెంథిల్ కుమార్, ఎక్కడా కాంప్రమైజ్ కాకుండా మంచి టెక్నికల్ టీంతో సినిమా నిర్మించారన్నారు. దర్శకత్వంపై ఉన్న ఆసక్తిని, ప్రస్తుతం చేస్తున్న “స్వయంభు”, “ఇండియన్ హౌస్” సినిమాల గురించి కూడా వివరించారు.
K.K. Senthil Kumar, the cinematographer of ‘Junior’, spoke about the film ahead of its July 18 release. The movie marks the debut of Kireeti Reddy, son of politician and businessman Gali Janardhan Reddy, with Sri Leela as the female lead. Directed by Radhakrishna and produced by Rajani Korrapati under the Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram banner, the film has already generated buzz with its teaser, trailer, and songs.
Speaking to the media, Senthil Kumar said, “The strong emotional core in Radhakrishna’s story is what drew me to this project. It’s rare to see a debut actor start off with a family drama, and Kireeti took on that challenge with great sincerity.”
On Kireeti, he said, “He’s a hardworking newcomer, an excellent dancer, and performs action and emotional scenes with balance — definitely one of the best among new talents.” About choosing ‘Junior’ after massive visual films like RRR, he said, “After such large-scale films, I wanted to work on something refreshing with strong emotions, and this film gave me that.”
He praised the audience response to the songs and trailer, especially the viral dance number featuring Kireeti and Sri Leela. Complimenting producer Sai for assembling a top-notch technical team, he added that working under the Vaaraahi banner was a joyful experience. Senthil also hinted at his directorial ambitions and shared updates about his upcoming projects like ‘Swayambhu’ and ‘Indian House’.
