బహిరంగంగా మాట్లాడేటప్పుడు ఆచితూచి ఉండాలని కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ జాతీయ అధ్యక్షుడు మల్లికార్జున ఖర్గే మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డిని హెచ్చరించినట్లు సమాచారం. మంత్రి పొంగులేటిపై కొందరు మంత్రులు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు ఫిర్యాదులు చేయడంతో ఢిల్లీలో ఖర్గేతో పొంగులేటి దాదాపు గంటపాటు భేటీ అయినట్లు పార్టీ వర్గాలు తెలిపాయి.
తాజాగా మంత్రి పొంగులేటి స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికలపై బాంబులు పేలతాయని చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలపై పార్టీ అధిష్టానం అసంతృప్తిగా ఉంది. ఇటువంటి మాటలు ప్రభుత్వానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా మారవచ్చని, ప్రభుత్వ సభ్యులంతా సమన్వయంతో ఉండాలని ఖర్గే పేర్కొన్నట్లు సమాచారం.
ఇక తెలంగాణ ఇంచార్జ్ మీనాక్షి నటరాజన్‌ను కూడా ఎమ్మెల్యేలు కలిసి పలు విషయాల్లో మంత్రి తీరు అంగీకారంగా లేదని చెప్పినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ప్రభుత్వంలో ఐఏఎస్, ఐపీఎస్ అధికారులు, ఇతర నాయకులతో మంచి సంబంధాలు కొనసాగించాలని ఖర్గే సూచించారని సమాచారం.

Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge has reportedly warned Telangana minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy to be cautious while making public comments. According to party sources, Ponguleti had a one-hour meeting with Kharge after complaints were raised by certain ministers and MLAs regarding his behavior and statements.
Recently, Ponguleti sparked controversy by saying “bombs will explode” in the context of upcoming local body elections, which didn’t sit well with the party high command. Kharge is said to have advised him not to make anti-government comments in public forums and maintain coordination with officials, MLAs, and ministers.
It is also learned that some MLAs met Telangana Congress in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan and expressed dissatisfaction over Ponguleti’s conduct. Kharge reportedly emphasized the need for coordination with IAS, IPS officers and other party leaders for smooth functioning.
