జమ్మూ కశ్మీర్లోని కిష్త్వార్ జిల్లాలో కుంభవృష్టితో మచైల్ మాత యాత్ర మార్గంలో భారీ వరదలు ఉధృతమయ్యాయి. యాత్రకు వెళ్తున్న భక్తులు ప్రవాహంలో కొట్టుకుపోయి 22 మంది ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు. స్థానికుల సమాచారంతో పోలీసులు సంఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకొని రక్షణ చర్యలు చేపట్టారు. మిగతా యాత్రికులను నిలిపివేయడంతో పాటు 65 మందిని రెస్క్యూ బృందాలు సురక్షితంగా తరలించాయి.
