Jagan’s misgovernance scared Singapore, says CM Chandrababu; directs ministers to attend free bus launch for women
సింగపూర్ పెట్టుబడులపై జగన్ ప్రభుత్వ తీరుతో ఆ దేశం భయపడిపోయిందని, కేసుల బెదిరింపులతో బెంబేలెత్తిందని సీఎం చంద్రబాబు విమర్శించారు. రాష్ట్రంపై నమ్మకాన్ని పునరుద్ధరించేందుకు తిరిగి ప్రయత్నించాల్సి వచ్చిందని చెప్పారు. నవంబర్‌లో పెట్టుబడుల సదస్సుకు సింగపూర్ వచ్చేందుకు ఒప్పుకోవడం సులభం కాలేదని వివరించారు.
Singapore was frightened due to the misgovernance of the previous Jagan-led government, claimed Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu. He stated that during the previous regime, threats of legal action were made even against Singaporean ministers, making the foreign government wary of investing in the state again. Considerable efforts had to be made to rebuild trust, he said.
బుధవారం జరిగిన కేబినెట్ సమావేశం తర్వాత మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ, సింగపూర్ ప్రభుత్వం పెట్టుబడుల సదస్సుకు రావడంలో వెనుకంజ వేసిన కారణాలను వివరించారు. గతంలో వైసీపీ నేతలు వారిని బెదిరించడం వల్లే ఈ పరిస్థితి తలెత్తిందని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
Speaking after the state cabinet meeting, Chandrababu revealed that the Singapore government initially hesitated to attend the upcoming Global Investors Summit scheduled for November. He blamed the previous government for intimidating officials and creating a climate of fear.
ఇకపై బార్ పాలసీని అమలు చేస్తామని, కల్లు గీత కార్మికుల కోసం కేటాయించిన షాపుల్లో బినామీలు ఉంటే సహించబోమని హితవు పలికారు. ఆగస్టు 15న ప్రారంభించనున్న మహిళల ఉచిత బస్సు ప్రయాణ కార్యక్రమానికి అన్ని శాఖల మంత్రులూ హాజరుకావాలని ఆదేశించారు.
He also announced that the cabinet had approved the new bar policy and warned against the use of benami names in toddy worker shops. As part of women’s welfare initiatives, he instructed all ministers to attend the August 15 launch of the free bus travel scheme for women.
ఆటో డ్రైవర్లతో ముందుగా సమావేశం ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని మంత్రి నాదెండ్ల మనోహర్ సూచించగా, మంచి ఆలోచనగా అభినందించిన చంద్రబాబు వెంటనే సమాలోచన నిర్వహించాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
Minister Nara Lokesh suggested holding a prior discussion with auto drivers before the free bus scheme rolls out. Chandrababu appreciated the idea and ordered officials to arrange the meeting promptly.
