తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో నిరుపేదలకు ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణం కోసం అమలు చేస్తున్న ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల పథకంలో రెండో విడతను ఏప్రిల్–మే నెలల్లో ప్రారంభించనున్నట్లు ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించింది. రాష్ట్ర గృహనిర్మాణ శాఖ మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి ఈ విషయాన్ని వెల్లడించారు.

మొదటి విడతలో మంజూరైన సుమారు మూడు లక్షల ఇళ్లలో ఎక్కువ భాగం 2026 మధ్య నాటికి పూర్తి చేసే లక్ష్యంతో పనులు కొనసాగుతున్నాయని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. మార్చి నాటికి సుమారు ఒక లక్ష ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణం పూర్తయ్యే అవకాశం ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు.

పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో పేదలకు ఇళ్లు అందించడంపై ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి పెట్టింది. లబ్ధిదారులు జీవనోపాధి కోల్పోకుండా వారి ప్రస్తుత నివాస ప్రాంతాలకు సమీపంలోనే ఇళ్లు కేటాయించేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.

అలాగే గిరిజన మరియు దూర ప్రాంతాల్లో నిలిచిపోయిన గృహ నిర్మాణ పనులను కూడా పూర్తి చేయడానికి ప్రత్యేక ప్రణాళిక సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. లబ్ధిదారుల ఎంపికలో అక్రమాలు జరగకుండా కఠిన పర్యవేక్షణ ఉంటుందని అధికారులు స్పష్టం చేశారు.

The Telangana government has announced that the second phase of the Indiramma Housing Scheme will be launched during April and May to provide houses for economically weaker sections across the state.

Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the programme will continue in phases, with the government targeting the completion of a large number of houses sanctioned earlier under phase-1. Around one lakh houses are expected to be completed by March, while most of the three lakh houses sanctioned earlier are likely to be finished by mid-2026.
