తెలంగాణలో బుధవారం, గురువారం భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని వాతావరణ శాఖ హెచ్చరించి, రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా రెడ్ అలర్ట్ జారీ చేసింది. అధికారులు ప్రజలను అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించారు.

హైదరాబాద్ వాతావరణ శాఖ తెలిపిన ప్రకారం, సంగారెడ్డి, మెదక్, వికారాబాద్, మేడ్చల్, యాదాద్రి భువనగిరి, ఖమ్మం, భద్రాద్రి, భూపాలపల్లి, ములుగు జిల్లాలకు రెడ్ కలర్ వార్నింగ్ జారీ చేయబడింది. హైదరాబాద్, హనుమకొండ, ఆదిలాబాద్, జనగామ, కామారెడ్డి, కుమురంభీం ఆసిఫాబాద్, మహబూబాబాద్, మంచిర్యాల, నల్గొండ, రంగారెడ్డి, సిద్దిపేట, వరంగల్ జిల్లాలకు ఆరెంజ్ వార్నింగ్ ఇచ్చారు. నిర్మల్, నిజామాబాద్, జగిత్యాల, రాజన్న సిరిసిల్ల, పెద్దపల్లి, కరీంనగర్ జిల్లాలకు ఎల్లో అలర్ట్ జారీ చేశారు.
ఉత్తర తెలంగాణ జిల్లాల్లో వర్ష తీవ్రత ఎక్కువగా ఉండే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు హెచ్చరించారు. హైదరాబాద్, రంగారెడ్డి జిల్లాల్లో భారీ నుంచి అతి భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని చెప్పారు. జీహెచ్ఎంసీ పరిధిలో ఈరోజు రెడ్ అలర్ట్, రేపు ఆరెంజ్ అలర్ట్ అమల్లో ఉంటుందని వెల్లడించారు.
పశ్చిమ మధ్య బంగాళాఖాతంలో ఏర్పడిన అల్పపీడనం ప్రభావంతో రాష్ట్రంలో నాలుగు రోజుల పాటు వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని వాతావరణ శాఖ అంచనా వేసింది. 17న ఉత్తర తెలంగాణలో వర్ష తీవ్రత మరింత అధికంగా ఉండే అవకాశం ఉందని పేర్కొంది. భారీ వర్షాల నేపథ్యంలో అధికారులు తగిన జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకుంటున్నారు.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rains across Telangana on Wednesday and Thursday, issuing a red alert for the entire state and urging people to remain cautious.
According to the Hyderabad Meteorological Centre, red alerts have been issued for the districts of Sangareddy, Medak, Vikarabad, Medchal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Bhupalpally, and Mulugu. Orange alerts have been announced for Hyderabad, Hanumakonda, Adilabad, Jangaon, Kamareddy, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mahabubabad, Mancherial, Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy, Siddipet, and Warangal. Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Peddapalli, and Karimnagar districts are under yellow alert.
Officials warned that rainfall intensity will be higher in North Telangana districts, with heavy to very heavy rains likely in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts. In the GHMC limits, a red alert is in effect for today and an orange alert for tomorrow.
The IMD said a low-pressure area has formed over the west-central Bay of Bengal, which is likely to bring widespread rains to Telangana for the next four days. On the 17th, the intensity of rainfall is expected to be even higher in North Telangana. Authorities are on alert and urging residents to take necessary precautions in view of the heavy rains forecast.
