రైతుల సమస్యలు పరిష్కరించడంలో ప్రభుత్వం విఫలమైందని, ఎరువుల సరఫరాలో అమలు చేస్తున్న ‘ఒటిపి, ఒక బస్తా’ విధానాన్ని వెంటనే రద్దు చేయాలని బిఆర్ఎస్ నేత హరీశ్ రావు డిమాండ్ చేశారు. Farmers are facing severe hardships due to artificial shortages of fertilisers created by the government, he alleged.
సిద్ధిపేట జిల్లా రాఘవాపూర్లో బుధవారం పర్యటించిన హరీశ్ రావు, ఎరువుల కోసం క్యూలో నిలబడ్డ రైతులను కలసి వారి సమస్యలు విన్నారు. అనంతరం మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ, సబ్సిడీ ఇవ్వకుండా తప్పించుకునేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం ఉద్దేశపూర్వకంగా కొరత సృష్టిస్తోందని ఆరోపించారు. బిహార్లో ఎన్నికల కారణంగా ఎరువులు అక్కడికి తరలిస్తున్నారని విమర్శించారు. స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో కాంగ్రెస్, బీజేపీలకు గుణపాఠం చెప్పాలని రైతులను పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
అంతకుముందు, వ్యవసాయ మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డికి లేఖ రాసిన హరీశ్ రావు, కాళేశ్వరం కింద ఉన్న జలాశయాలు నింపాలని, ఆరో ప్యాకేజీ కింద ఉన్న మోటార్లను రైతుల కోసం ఆన్ చేయాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. జలాశయాల్లో నీరు లేక రైతులు తీవ్ర ఆందోళన చెందుతున్నారని పేర్కొన్నారు.
MLC and BRS leader Kadiyam Srihari alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was misleading people with false statements on the Dummugudem project. Speaking to the media in Hanamkonda, he said the CM was distorting facts about irrigation projects for political gain.
He clarified that the delay in the Dummugudem project was due to central government permissions and inter-state disputes, not because of negligence by the previous BRS government. Srihari accused Revanth Reddy of creating unnecessary confusion among the public with baseless remarks.
He stated that the people of Telangana know well about the BRS government’s efforts to protect the state’s irrigation interests and alleged that the Congress government was focusing more on political blame games than on resolving key irrigation issues.
