ఎన్నికల ముందు రైతుల కోసం హామీలు, ష్యూరిటీ బాండ్లు ఇచ్చి ప్రభుత్వం లోకి వచ్చి, ఇప్పుడు మాత్రం మోసపూరిత పాలన కొనసాగుతోందని వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ తీవ్ర విమర్శలు చేసింది. రైతు భరోసా సహా అనేక పథకాల్ని చంద్రబాబు ప్రభుత్వం దారుణంగా విస్మరించిందని ఆరోపించింది.
Before elections, promises and bonds were distributed door-to-door claiming guaranteed support for farmers, but once in power, the government has betrayed them, said YSRCP, accusing the current regime of dismantling farmer-friendly schemes like Rythu Bharosa.
ఎన్నికలకు ముందు అధికారం కోసం హామీలు, ష్యూరిటీ బాండ్లు పంచి ప్రజలను నమ్మించి అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తెలుగుదేశం ప్రభుత్వం ఇప్పుడు మోసపూరిత పాలన సాగిస్తోందని వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ ఆక్షేపించింది. దర్శిలో జరిగిన సభలో చంద్రబాబు చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలపై పార్టీ ప్రతినిధులు ఘాటుగా స్పందించారు.
వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ తెలిపిన వివరాల ప్రకారం, తమ పాలనలో అమలైన రైతు భరోసా పథకాన్ని తత్కాలीन ప్రభుత్వ ఖజానాలో నిధుల్లేని పరిస్థితుల్లోనూ ప్రారంభించి, ఐదేళ్లపాటు క్రమం తప్పకుండా పెట్టుబడి సహాయంగా అందించారని పేర్కొంది. ఏడాదికి రూ.13,500 చొప్పున రైతులకు ఇచ్చినట్లు తెలిపింది.
కానీ ప్రస్తుత చంద్రబాబు ప్రభుత్వం మాత్రం కేంద్రం ఇచ్చే రూ.6,000 మినహాయించి, తాము వాగ్దానం చేసిన రూ.20,000 “అన్నదాత సుఖీభవ” సాయాన్ని మంటగలిపిందని, చివరికి కేవలం రూ.5,000 మాత్రమే ఇచ్చిందని ఆరోపించారు. ఖరీఫ్ సీజన్‌ ప్రారంభమై రెండు నెలలు గడిచినా రైతులకు పెట్టుబడి సహాయం అందలేదని విమర్శించారు.
రైతులకు ఇస్తున్న సున్నా వడ్డీ పథకం, ఉచిత పంటల బీమా, ధరల స్థిరీకరణ నిధి వంటి పథకాలను రద్దు చేసి వ్యవసాయరంగాన్ని మళ్లీ సంక్షోభంలోకి నెట్టారని వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ పేర్కొంది. RBKల ద్వారా నాణ్యమైన విత్తనాలు, ఎరువులు ఇచ్చిన విధానాన్ని మార్చి, మళ్లీ సిండికేట్‌ వ్యవస్థను ప్రోత్సహించారని మండిపడ్డారు.
ప్రస్తుత పాలనలో రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా 250 మందికిపైగా రైతులు ఆత్మహత్యలు చేసుకోవడం, గిట్టుబాటు ధరలు లేకపోవడం వంటి ఘటనలు ప్రభుత్వం రైతులపై చూపుతున్న అమానవీయతకు నిదర్శనమని వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ ఆరోపించింది.
Before elections, you not only make promises for power, but you also hand out bonds door-to-door claiming to offer guarantees. But once in power, you betray people without hesitation. This has once again been proven true today. Under the names of Super-6 and Super-7, your betrayal of the public continues.
YSRCP has strongly criticized the TDP, accusing it of misleading people before elections with grand promises and then failing to honor them after coming to power. The party specifically pointed to the dismantling of the Rythu Bharosa scheme, which was implemented effectively during the previous YSRCP government.
They said that the Rythu Bharosa scheme was launched in October 2019, despite the treasury being nearly empty, and was implemented consistently for five years, providing crucial investment support to farmers. A clear calendar was issued each year to ensure timely disbursement.
YSRCP stated that while their 2019 manifesto promised ₹12,500 per year to farmers, the government actually gave ₹13,500 annually, totaling ₹34,288.17 crore in five years — a record support. In contrast, Chandrababu Naidu’s promise of giving ₹20,000 per year under Annadata Sukhibhava was not kept. In two years, only ₹5,000 was given per farmer instead of ₹40,000 — and even that amount didn’t reach all intended beneficiaries.
The YSRCP pointed out that during its tenure, 53.58 lakh farmers received investment support. But now, the current government has imposed excessive restrictions and denied support to around 7 lakh farmers.
Further, they accused the government of scrapping essential initiatives like the zero-interest loan scheme, the free crop insurance program, and the Price Stabilization Fund which had helped stabilize crop prices. They claimed the government spent ₹7,800 crore during YSRCP rule to support farmers, but now, farmers are left to fend for themselves.
Even facilities like RBKs (Rythu Bharosa Kendras), e-Crop, and testing labs have been weakened under the current regime, said the party. While YSRCP certified and provided quality fertilizers and pesticides through RBKs, TDP has allegedly encouraged private syndicates leading to artificial shortages and exploitation.
YSRCP alleged that over 250 farmers across the state have committed suicide due to lack of crop profitability and government support. The government has not even reached out to these grieving families, showing inhumanity and insensitivity.
In conclusion, YSRCP claimed that during its rule, it rebuilt agriculture in Andhra Pradesh with several reforms, which the TDP is now dismantling, once again plunging the sector into deep crisis.
