TRS leader and MLC Kadiyam Srihari has criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s recent remarks on the Dummugudem project, calling them misleading. Speaking to the media in Hanamkonda, Srihari said the CM is attempting to misinform the people on irrigation issues.
He stated that the Congress government is trying to use Telangana’s water rights for political mileage. He questioned why the CM is blaming the previous BRS government when projects like Dummugudem were delayed due to central clearances and inter-state issues.
Srihari alleged that Revanth Reddy is deliberately creating confusion among the public by making baseless allegations. He said the people of Telangana are aware of the efforts made by the BRS government to protect the state’s irrigation interests.
He further claimed that the Congress government is failing to address key irrigation challenges and is instead resorting to political blame games.
