నేతన్నలకు ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం గుడ్ న్యూస్ – జీతాలు, ఛార్జీలు పెంపు

వేలాది మంది నేతన్నలకు ఊరటనిచ్చేలా వేతనాలు మరియు ప్రాసెసింగ్ ఛార్జీలను పెంచే నిర్ణయాన్ని ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుంది. ఈ విషయాన్ని రాష్ట్ర బీసీ, చేనేత, జౌళి శాఖ మంత్రి సవిత వెల్లడించారు. సంప్రదాయ చేనేత రంగాన్ని బలోపేతం చేయాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో సీఎం చంద్రబాబు ఈ కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో 1,036 చేనేత సహకార సంఘాల ద్వారా 89 వేల మంది మగ్గం కార్మికులు పనిచేస్తున్నారని పేర్కొన్నారు. వీరందరికి వేతనాలు, ప్రాసెసింగ్ ఛార్జీలు పెంచుతూ ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది.
- బ్లీచింగ్ ఛార్జీలు: ₹129 → ₹148 (15%)
- డైయింగ్ ఛార్జీలు: ₹362 → ₹434 (20%)
- బెడ్‌షీట్ నేత మజూరి: ₹83 → ₹100 (20%)
- టవల్ మజూరి: ₹31 → ₹40 (30%)
ఈ పెంపుతో నేతన్నకు నెలకు సగటున ₹3,000 అదనపు ఆదాయం లభించనుందని తెలిపారు. ప్రస్తుతం 92,274 మందికి నెలకు ₹4,000 పింఛను అందిస్తున్నట్టు మంత్రి తెలిపారు. ఉచిత విద్యుత్, గృహనిర్మాణ పథకంలో ₹50,000 అదనంగా అందజేస్తున్నట్టు చెప్పారు.
అలాగే, ఆప్కో, లేపాక్షి ఆధ్వర్యంలో నూతన డిజైన్ల కోసం పోటీలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నట్టు, ఉత్తమ డిజైన్లను ఎంపిక చేసి రూ.5 లక్షల బహుమతులు ఇవ్వనున్నట్టు మంత్రి వెల్లడించారు. ఆప్కో పనితీరును మెరుగుపరచేందుకు ఐఐఎమ్ విశాఖపట్నం తో ఒప్పందం కూడా చేసుకున్నట్టు చెప్పారు.
AP Govt’s Big Boost for Handloom Weavers: Wages and Charges Hiked Significantly
Vijayawada, June 14 (News Pulse):
In a move that brings relief to thousands of traditional handloom weavers (Nethannas), the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to increase weaving wages and processing charges substantially. BC, Handlooms & Textiles Minister Savitha announced that this initiative aims to strengthen the traditional weaving sector as per the vision of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
There are around 1,036 handloom cooperative societies in the state, with over 89,000 weavers depending on them. The revised benefits apply to primary weavers supplying to APCO. Bleaching charges per bundle are increased from ₹129 to ₹148 (15%), dyeing charges from ₹362 to ₹434 (20%), bed sheet weaving from ₹83 to ₹100 (20%), and towel weaving from ₹31 to ₹40 (30%).
This revision is expected to increase the monthly income of each weaver by ₹3,000. Additionally, 92,274 weavers are receiving ₹4,000 monthly pension from the government, as promised during elections. Free power, housing aid of ₹50,000, training in modern designs, and marketing support through exhibitions and buyer-seller meets are also being provided.
Minister Savitha also announced design competitions in collaboration with NID-AP, APCO, and Lepakshi to promote innovation. The winners across multiple categories will receive cash prizes of ₹5 lakhs. APCO and Lepakshi are also entering into a partnership with IIM Visakhapatnam to enhance transparency and accountability.
