Andhra Pradesh has announced its new Space Policy aiming to attract ₹25,000 crore in investments and generate over 35,000 jobs in the next decade.
ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించిన నూతన స్పేస్ పాలసీతో రాష్ట్రంలో ₹25 వేల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులు, 35 వేలకు పైగా ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు సృష్టించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించింది. Andhra Pradesh has announced its new Space Policy aiming to attract ₹25,000 crore in investments and generate over 35,000 jobs in the next decade.
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం ‘ఏపీ స్పేస్ పాలసీ’కు ఆమోదం తెలుపుతూ అధికారికంగా ఉత్తర్వులు విడుదల చేసింది. ఈ పాలసీ ప్రధాన లక్ష్యం ప్రైవేట్ రంగంలో పెట్టుబడులను ఆకర్షించడం, ఉపాధిని పెంపొందించడమేనని తెలిపింది. శ్రీసత్యసాయి జిల్లాలో లేపాక్షి, తిరుపతి జిల్లాలో రౌతు సురమల ప్రాంతాల్లో ప్రత్యేక స్పేస్ సిటీలను అభివృద్ధి చేయనుంది.
పాలసీ ద్వారా ఉపగ్రహ తయారీ, ఉపగ్రహ ప్రేక్షేపణ, గ్రౌండ్ స్టేషన్లు, డేటా అనలిటిక్స్, రిమోట్ సెన్సింగ్ రంగాలలో మౌలిక వసతుల అభివృద్ధిపై దృష్టి సారించనున్నారు. దీనివల్ల రాష్ట్రంలో కొత్త టెక్నాలజీ కేంద్రాలు అభివృద్ధి చెందుతాయని, యువతకు మంచి అవకాశాలు అందుబాటులోకి వస్తాయని అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ స్పేస్ పాలసీ అమలు ద్వారా రాష్ట్రం అంతరిక్ష రంగంలో కీలకంగా ఎదగనుంది.
The Andhra Pradesh government has officially approved its Space Policy, with a clear focus on attracting private investments and creating employment. As per the plan, two dedicated space cities will be developed — one in Lepakshi (Sri Sathya Sai district) and another in Rauthu Suramala (Tirupati district). The policy aims to boost infrastructure for satellite manufacturing, launch services, ground stations, remote sensing, and data analytics.
Officials stated that this initiative would position Andhra Pradesh as a hub for space technology, fostering innovation and offering vast opportunities for youth and startups. Through strategic infrastructure and policy support, the state seeks to establish a strong footprint in India’s growing space economy.
