అపర భగీరథుడిలా కృషి చేసి కృష్ణా జలాలను కుప్పానికి అందించిన ఏపీ సీఎం చంద్రబాబును చిత్తూరు ఎంపీ దగ్గుమళ్ళ ప్రసాదరావు ప్రశంసించారు.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు రాయలసీమ ప్రాంతంలో ప్రతి ఆయకట్టుకు నీరందించాలనే సంకల్పంతో శ్రమిస్తున్నారని చిత్తూరు ఎంపీ దగ్గుమళ్ళ ప్రసాదరావు తెలిపారు. కుప్పం నియోజకవర్గాన్ని హంద్రీ-నీవా జలాలతో సస్యశ్యామలం చేయడమే సీఎం చంద్రబాబు లక్ష్యమని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ నెల 30న కుప్పంలో కృష్ణా జలాలకు హారతి ఇవ్వనున్న సందర్భంలో ఎంపీ దగ్గుమళ్ళ శుక్రవారం ఒక ప్రకటన విడుదల చేశారు. 2024 సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల్లో ఇచ్చిన హామీ మేరకు కుప్పానికి కృష్ణా జలాలు చేరడం హర్షకరమని పేర్కొంటూ, సీఎం చంద్రబాబు పరిపాలన దక్షతకు కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.
వైసిపి ప్రభుత్వ కాలంలో ఆగిపోయిన హంద్రీ-నీవా పనులు, కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి రాగానే వేగం అందుకున్నాయని ఆయన వివరించారు. సీఎం చంద్రబాబు, జల వనరుల శాఖ మంత్రి రామానాయుడు తరచుగా పర్యవేక్షణ చేయడం వల్ల ప్రాజెక్టు నిర్ణీత గడువులో పూర్తి కావడం సాధ్యమైందని తెలిపారు.
530 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో 265 కిలోమీటర్ల కాల్వ విస్తరణ, అభివృద్ధి పనులను శరవేగంగా పూర్తి చేసిన అధికారులను దగ్గుమళ్ళ అభినందించారు. సీఎం ఇచ్చిన మాట నిలబెట్టుకోవడం ద్వారా రైతులకు నమ్మకం కలిగించారని, ఆయన ఎల్లప్పుడూ శ్రమించే నాయకుడని ప్రశంసించారు.

He stated that Chandrababu is working tirelessly with the aim of supplying water to every ayacut in Rayalaseema and making agriculture profitable. Making Kuppam green with the Handri-Neeva waters is his true vision, he added.
On the occasion of Krishna waters reaching Kuppam and the Chief Minister set to offer Harathi on the 30th of this month, MP Daggumalla released a statement on Friday praising Chandrababu’s dedication and governance skills.
He said that as promised during the 2024 general elections, Krishna waters have now reached Kuppam constituency, which is a great relief to the farmers. He expressed gratitude to CM Chandrababu for keeping his word and called him a hardworking and committed leader.
The MP further said that the Handri-Neeva project works, which were stalled during the YSRCP regime, gained momentum after the coalition government came to power. With constant monitoring from CM Chandrababu and Water Resources Minister Ramanaidu, the project was completed within the set deadline.
Daggumalla praised the officials for completing canal expansion and development works across 265 kilometers at a cost of ₹530 crores, ensuring Krishna waters finally reached Kuppam. He added that Chandrababu has once again proved himself as a leader who stands by his commitments and inspires both officials and party workers.
