Makers of the much-awaited action drama Ghaati have officially announced its grand theatrical release on September 5 across five languages. The gripping theatrical trailer has set the tone, revealing Anushka Shetty in a never-before-seen wild avatar.

Anushka Shetty leads the cast with Vikram Prabhu playing the male lead. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film is being produced on a grand scale by First Frame Entertainment and presented by UV Creations.

The trailer opens with a powerful voice-over narrating how the Ghaati people once built roads through treacherous hills during British rule. Today, the same hills are a backdrop for drug smuggling, and a fierce young woman rises to challenge the corruption.
