సిద్దిపేటలో 30 కేసులలో స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్న 21.017 కిలోల గంజాయిని చిన్నకోడూరు మండలంలో ధర్మ అండ్ కంపెనీ బయోమెడికల్ వేస్టేజ్ యూనిట్లో నాశనం చేశారు. జిల్లాను మత్తు పదార్థాల రహితంగా చేయడానికి పోలీస్ కమిషనరేట్ ప్రత్యేక చర్యలు చేపట్టింది.
A total of 21.017 kg of ganja seized in 30 cases was destroyed at a biomedical waste unit in Chinnakodur mandal, Siddipet. The police commissionerate has intensified efforts to make the district free from narcotics.
సిద్దిపేట పోలీస్ కమిషనరేట్ పరిధిలో 2019 నుండి 2025 మధ్య నమోదైన 30 కేసులలో స్వాధీనం చేసిన 21.017 కిలోల గంజాయిని, కమిషనర్ బి. అనురాధ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన గంజాయి డిస్ట్రయ్ కమిటీ పర్యవేక్షణలో, చిన్నకోడూరు మండలం మాచాపూర్ గ్రామ శివారులోని ధర్మ అండ్ కంపెనీ బయోమెడికల్ వేస్టేజ్ ప్రాసెసింగ్ యూనిట్లో ఇన్సులేటర్లో కాల్చివేశారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో కమిటీ చైర్మన్ కమిషనర్, ఏఆర్ అడిషనల్ డీసీపీ సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్, సిద్దిపేట ఏసీపీ రవీందర్ రెడ్డి తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కమిషనర్ బి. అనురాధ మాట్లాడుతూ, జిల్లాలో డ్రగ్స్, గంజాయి, ఇతర మత్తు పదార్థాల రహిత వాతావరణం కోసం ప్రత్యేక నిఘా టీమ్స్, డ్రగ్ డిటెక్షన్ డాగ్స్ సహాయంతో తనిఖీలు జరుగుతున్నాయని తెలిపారు. యువత మత్తు పదార్థాలకు బానిస కాకుండా తల్లిదండ్రులు జాగ్రత్తగా పర్యవేక్షించాలని సూచించారు. ఆన్లైన్ పార్సెల్స్ పట్ల కూడా అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని, ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ మత్తు వ్యసనాల నివారణలో భాగస్వాములు కావాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

A total of 21.017 kg of ganja seized in 30 cases between 2019 and 2025 in the Siddipet Police Commissionerate limits was destroyed under the supervision of Commissioner B. Anuradha, who heads the Ganja Destroy Committee. The contraband was incinerated in an insulator at the Dharma & Company Biomedical Waste Processing Unit in the outskirts of Machapur village, Chinnakodur mandal. The committee’s chairman, the commissioner, along with AR Additional DCP Subhash Chandra Bose, Siddipet ACP Ravinder Reddy, and other officials, participated in the operation.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner B. Anuradha said special surveillance teams, along with drug detection dogs, are conducting checks across the district to ensure it remains free of drugs, ganja, and other narcotic substances. She advised youth to stay away from intoxicants and urged parents to keep a close watch on their children’s whereabouts and activities. She also stressed vigilance regarding online parcels arriving at homes and called for public cooperation in eliminating drug addiction from the district.
