అమెరికా ప్రభుత్వం భారత వస్తువులపై సుంకాలు పెంచడం, H-1B వీసా ఫీజును పెంచడం పట్ల తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. అమెరికా వ్యాపార నాయకులు, థింక్ట్యాంక్ ప్రతినిధులు, ఫిలాంత్రఫీ ప్రముఖులు పాల్గొన్న అమెరికా ప్రతినిధి బృందంతో గురువారం సెక్రటేరియట్లో జరిగిన సమావేశంలో ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు.
During a meeting with an American delegation of business and policy leaders, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy raised concerns over the U.S. move to increase tariffs on Indian goods and hike H-1B visa fees. The meeting, held at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat on Thursday, was also attended by IT & Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu.
రేవంత్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ, అమెరికా అభివృద్ధిలో తెలంగాణ ప్రవాస భారతీయుల పాత్ర ఎంతో ముఖ్యమని పేర్కొన్నారు. H-1B వీసా ఫీజు పెంపు రెండు దేశాల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థలపై ప్రతికూల ప్రభావం చూపవచ్చని, దీని వల్ల అపార్థాలు, అసంతృప్తి ఏర్పడే అవకాశం ఉందని హెచ్చరించారు. ఇటీవల టారిఫ్ల పెంపు వంటి అకస్మాత్తు నిర్ణయాలు పెట్టుబడిదారులలో అనిశ్చితి సృష్టిస్తున్నాయని అన్నారు.
Highlighting the contribution of the Telangana diaspora to America’s growth, the CM said such moves could hurt both economies and strain bilateral relations. Sudden decisions like tariff hikes, he said, create uncertainty for investors.
రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధి విధానాల్లో నిరంతరత కొనసాగించడం వల్లే హైదరాబాద్ గ్లోబల్ సిటీగా ఎదిగిందని ఆయన అన్నారు. రాజకీయ భేదాభిప్రాయాలు ఉన్నప్పటికీ, ప్రతి ప్రభుత్వం గత ప్రభుత్వాల నుండి ఉత్తమ పద్ధతులను స్వీకరించి ముందుకు సాగిందని తెలిపారు.
He added that consistent policy continuity by successive governments has helped Hyderabad evolve into a global city. Despite political differences, governments have maintained best practices to sustain growth.
‘టెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ 2047’ విజన్పై మాట్లాడుతూ, రాష్ట్రం 2034 నాటికి $1 ట్రిలియన్, 2047 నాటికి $3 ట్రిలియన్ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా ఎదగడమే లక్ష్యమని చెప్పారు. హైదరాబాద్ ఇప్పుడు న్యూయార్క్, టోక్యో, సియోల్ వంటి ప్రపంచ నగరాలతో పోటీ పడుతోందని అన్నారు.
Outlining his ‘Telangana Rising 2047’ vision, Revanth said the state aims to become a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and $3 trillion by 2047. Hyderabad, he noted, is now competing with global cities like New York, Tokyo, and Seoul.
రేవంత్ రెడ్డి రాష్ట్రానికి ప్రాధాన్యత కలిగిన పలు ప్రాజెక్టులను ప్రస్తావించారు — రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్, రీజినల్ రింగ్ రైలు, భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ, డ్రై పోర్ట్, సమీప సముద్ర తీరానికి ప్రత్యేక రోడ్డు మరియు రైలు కనెక్టివిటీ, ముసి రివర్ రీజువినేషన్, మెట్రో విస్తరణ వంటి ప్రాజెక్టులు రాష్ట్ర ఆర్థిక వృద్ధికి దోహదం చేస్తాయని చెప్పారు.
He said several game-changing projects — the Regional Ring Road, Regional Ring Rail, Bharat Future City, Dry Port, connectivity to Andhra ports, Musi River rejuvenation, and Metro expansion — would accelerate Telangana’s economic growth.
ముసి రివర్ రీజువినేషన్ ప్రాజెక్టు ద్వారా నైట్ ఎకానమీ, రివర్ఫ్రంట్ డెవలప్మెంట్కు కొత్త అవకాశాలు తెరుచుకుంటాయని చెప్పారు. హైదరాబాద్ సాంస్కృతిక వారసత్వాన్ని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని ప్రపంచస్థాయి రివర్ఫ్రంట్గా అభివృద్ధి చేస్తామని అన్నారు.
He added that Musi rejuvenation will open new opportunities for the night economy and riverfront development, leveraging Hyderabad’s rich cultural heritage.
చైనా + 1 వ్యూహంలో తెలంగాణ కీలక పాత్ర పోషించగలదని, భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ అభివృద్ధిలో అమెరికన్ పరిశ్రమల భాగస్వామ్యాన్ని కోరారు. త్వరలో ఫార్చ్యూన్ 500 కంపెనీలను అక్కడకు ఆహ్వానిస్తానని చెప్పారు.
He emphasized Telangana’s strategic position in the China+1 framework and invited U.S. industry to partner in Bharat Future City. He expressed his intent to invite Fortune 500 companies to establish their presence there.

The delegation included Prof. Walter Russell Mead (Hudson Institute & Wall Street Journal), Mark Rosenblatt, Harlan Crow, Ravenel Curry, and Henry Billingsley.
