అయితే, భారత జట్టు ఛాంపియన్స్ ట్రోఫీ గెలవడంలో మాజీ కోచ్ రాహుల్ ద్రవిడ్ రూపకల్పన చేసిన ప్రణాళికలే ప్రధాన కారణమని రోహిత్ స్పష్టం చేశాడు. “టీ20 ప్రపంచకప్, ఛాంపియన్స్ ట్రోఫీ విజయాల వెనుక గత కొన్నేళ్ల కృషి ఉంది. ద్రవిడ్ బాటలో నడిచిన జట్టు విజయ పథంలో సాగింది,” అని పేర్కొన్నాడు. రాహుల్ ద్రవిడ్ కోచ్ పదవి వీడిన తర్వాత గౌతమ్ గంభీర్ బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టగా, అతని నాయకత్వంలో జట్టు ఛాంపియన్స్ ట్రోఫీ గెలిచింది.

He attended the 27th CEAT Cricket Rating (CCR) Awards ceremony in Mumbai along with his wife, Ritika. As known, the Indian team management replaced Rohit with young opener Shubman Gill as captain for the upcoming ODI series against Australia.
During the event, Rohit expressed his excitement about playing in Australia. “Playing in Australia is always a challenge but also a great experience. Their fans truly love cricket. I’m confident Team India will perform up to expectations and achieve success,” he said. However, he chose not to comment on his removal from the captaincy.
Rohit also credited former coach Rahul Dravid’s strategies for India’s recent successes, including the T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy wins. “The victories we’re seeing now are a result of the groundwork laid years ago under Rahul Dravid’s guidance. The team’s consistency and preparation have paid off,” Rohit said. After Dravid stepped down, Gautam Gambhir took charge as coach, under whose mentorship India lifted the Champions Trophy.
