కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం తెలంగాణ ఆర్థిక స్థితిపై తప్పుడు ప్రచారం చేస్తోందని బీఆర్ఎస్ వర్కింగ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ కేటీఆర్ తీవ్రంగా విమర్శించారు. కేటీఆర్ ఎక్స్ (ట్విట్టర్) వేదికగా స్పష్టం చేసిన ప్రకారం, గత నాలుగు నెలల్లో మొత్తం వడ్డీ చెల్లింపులు రూ. 9,355 కోట్లు మాత్రమేనని కంప్ట్రోలర్ అండ్ ఆడిటర్ జనరల్ (CAG) నివేదిక ధృవీకరించిందని చెప్పారు. కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం తమ వైఫల్యాలను దాచిపెట్టేందుకు ఉద్దేశపూర్వకంగా రాష్ట్ర అప్పుల భారం పెంచి చూపుతోందని ఆరోపించారు.

ఇటీవల భారీ వర్షాలతో ప్రజలు ప్రాణ, ఆస్తి నష్టం ఎదుర్కొంటున్న సమయంలో, ప్రజలకు సహాయం చేయాల్సిన ప్రభుత్వమే విలాసవంతమైన ప్రాజెక్టులపై దృష్టి పెట్టిందని కేటీఆర్ విమర్శించారు. 2036 ఒలింపిక్స్‌కి రూ. 3.5 లక్షల కోట్లు, మూసీ సుందరీకరణకు రూ. 1.5 లక్షల కోట్లు, హైదరాబాద్ బీచ్ ప్రాజెక్ట్‌కి రూ. 225 కోట్లు ఖర్చు చేయాలన్న చర్చలపై దృష్టి పెట్టడం ప్రజా సమస్యలను విస్మరించడమేనని అన్నారు.

ప్రజల గోడును పక్కన పెట్టి, లాభదాయక ప్రాజెక్టులపై కాంగ్రెస్ దృష్టి కేంద్రీకరిస్తోందని, ఇది ప్రజా పాలన కాదని ఆయన ఎద్దేవా చేశారు.
BRS working president KTR has strongly criticized the Congress government, accusing it of spreading false propaganda about Telangana’s financial status. He said Congress leaders are misleading people by claiming the state is paying ₹7,000 crore every month as loan interest, while official records clearly show the average is only ₹2,300 crore.

According to KTR, who clarified the issue on X (Twitter), the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) confirmed that the total loan interest payments over the past four months were just ₹9,355 crore. He alleged that the Congress government is deliberately inflating the debt burden to cover up its failures.

KTR also slammed the government for ignoring public suffering during recent heavy rains, which caused severe loss of lives and property. Instead of providing relief, the government is focusing on grand projects like spending ₹3.5 lakh crore for the 2036 Olympics, ₹1.5 lakh crore for Musi River beautification, and ₹225 crore for the Hyderabad Beach project.

He said Congress is prioritizing profit-oriented projects while neglecting people’s real problems, and mocked that this cannot be called public governance.
