బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల సాధన కోసం కేంద్రంపై పోరాటం చేస్తామని, అవసరమైతే ప్రధాని మోదీని కుర్చీ దిగేసేదాకా వెళ్తామని తెలంగాణ సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఢిల్లీలో ఘాటుగా ప్రకటించారు. గుజరాత్, యూపీలో అడగనప్పుడు తెలంగాణకు రిజర్వేషన్లు ఎందుకు అవసరం అంటున్నవారిని ప్రశ్నిస్తూ బీసీలకు 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు సాధించడమే లక్ష్యమన్నారు.
Telangana CM Revanth Reddy declared in Delhi that the state will fight to secure BC reservations even if it means unseating Prime Minister Modi. He questioned why leaders from Gujarat or UP oppose BC quotas in Telangana when no such demands were made in their states and asserted the goal of achieving 42% reservation for BCs.
ఢిల్లీ జంతర్ మంతర్ వేదికగా మాట్లాడుతూ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వంపై ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. “కేసీఆర్, కిషన్ రెడ్డి, బండి సంజయ్‌లపై కాదు మా సవాల్.. మోదీ, కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వానికే మా సవాల్” అంటూ ఘాటు వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. గుజరాత్‌లో జరిగిన అల్లర్ల తర్వాత వాజ్‌పేయి మోదీని సీఎం పదవి నుంచి తప్పించాలని అనుకున్నా సాధించలేకపోయారని గుర్తు చేశారు.
అలాగే, ఆర్ఎస్ఎస్ చీఫ్ భగవత్ చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలను ప్రస్తావిస్తూ – మోదీ కూడా పదవి దిగాలన్న నిబంధనకు లోబడి ఉండాలని అన్నారు. అయితే బీజేపీ నేత నిశికాంత్ దూబే మాత్రం మోదీ 2029 ఎన్నికల వరకూ ప్రధాని అభ్యర్థిగానే ఉంటారని చెప్పిన సంగతి గుర్తుచేశారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో రాహుల్ గాంధీ నేతృత్వంలో దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కాంగ్రెస్ కార్యకర్తలు మోదీని ఓడించేందుకు సిద్ధమవుతున్నారని రేవంత్ తెలిపారు.
“వాజ్‌పేయి, ఆర్ఎస్ఎస్ చేయలేని పని మేము చేస్తాం. మోదీని గద్దె దిగేస్తాం. ఇది మా శపథం” అని స్పష్టం చేశారు. కేంద్రం మెడలు వంచి అయినా బీసీలకు 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు సాధిస్తామన్నారు. మూడు రంగుల జెండాతో ఎర్రకోటపై BC రిజర్వేషన్ల విజయాన్ని అందుకుంటామని ధీమా వ్యక్తం చేశారు.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made a bold declaration in Delhi, stating that the Congress will fight to secure 42% reservations for Backward Classes (BCs), even if it means removing Prime Minister Narendra Modi from power. He questioned why leaders from Gujarat are opposing BC quotas in Telangana when no such demands were made in their own states.
Speaking at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, Revanth Reddy strongly criticized the Central government. “Our challenge is not to KCR, Kishan Reddy, or Bandi Sanjay. It is to Prime Minister Modi and his government,” he said. Referring to past events, he recalled that after the Gujarat riots, former PM Vajpayee wanted Modi removed as Chief Minister, but failed to do so.
He also cited comments made by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, who suggested that leaders who complete 75 years of age should step down. According to Revanth, Modi will turn 75 on September 17, 2025, and should therefore vacate the Prime Minister’s seat. However, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey contradicted this, claiming that Modi would continue as PM and be the party’s candidate in the 2029 elections.
In response, Revanth asserted that what Vajpayee and the RSS could not achieve, the Congress would accomplish. Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, every Congress worker across the country will fight to defeat Modi and bring him down from the Prime Minister’s chair by 2029, he said.
Revanth reaffirmed his commitment to achieving 42% BC reservations, even if it means forcing the Centre to concede. He added that the Congress will raise the tricolor flag over the Red Fort to mark this victory.
