స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికలు లేని పాలన సంక్షోభం; రూ.2300 కోట్ల నష్టం, బీసీలకు మోసం — బీజేపీ విమర్శ
Local governance in Telangana is facing a crisis due to the prolonged delay in conducting local body elections, alleged BJP State General Secretary Dr. Kasam Venkateshwarlu. Addressing the media at the party headquarters in Hyderabad, he said the Revanth Reddy government’s negligence has led to a halt in ₹2,300 crore worth of central grants and left sanitation workers struggling without salaries.
తెలంగాణలో సర్పంచ్‌లు, జెడ్పీటీసీలు, ఎంపీటీసీలు, మున్సిపల్ ప్రతినిధుల పదవీకాలం ముగిసినప్పటికీ ఇప్పటికీ స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించకపోవడం వల్ల గ్రామ పాలన పూర్తిగా స్తంభించిందని ఆయన విమర్శించారు. కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక సంఘం నుంచి వచ్చే ₹2,300 కోట్ల నిధులు రాష్ట్రానికి ఆగిపోయాయని తెలిపారు.
పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్మికులు జీతాలు లేక తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు పడుతున్నారని పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రజల సంక్షేమం పక్కనపెట్టి, తన పదవి కాపాడుకోవడం కోసం ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఢిల్లీకి టూర్లపై ఎక్కువ దృష్టి పెడుతున్నారని విమర్శించారు. “ఇటలీ కుటుంబానికి తలవంచే పనుల్లో ఆయన నిమగ్నమయ్యారు” అని ఆరోపించారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో 10 మంది ముఖ్యమంత్రులున్నట్లు టీపీసీసీ అధ్యక్షుడు మహేశ్ కుమార్ గౌడ్ చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలపై స్పందిస్తూ, బీజేపీ నేతలు ఇది పాలనలో ఉన్న అయోమయానికి నిదర్శనమని పేర్కొన్నారు. “మహేశ్ కుమార్ గౌడ్ సీఎం పదవికి పోటీ పడుతున్నట్లు కనిపిస్తోంది. అవసరం లేని పాదయాత్రలు చేస్తూ ప్రచారంగా మలచుకుంటున్నారు” అని ఎద్దేవా చేశారు.
తెలంగాణ హైకోర్టు ఆదేశించినప్పటికీ జూలై 25లోపు రిజర్వేషన్ల ప్రక్రియను పూర్తి చేయని ప్రభుత్వం బీసీలకు 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించే సంకల్పం లేదని ఆయన మండిపడ్డారు. “కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి బీసీల పట్ల చిత్తశుద్ధి లేదు. ప్రజల దృష్టి మరల్చేందుకే ఢిల్లీ బాట పడుతున్నారు” అని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
కావమారెడ్డి బీసీ డిక్లరేషన్ అమలుపై బీజేపీ నేతలు కఠిన వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. “42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లపై అమలు చేయలేని పరిస్థితి ఉంటే ప్రభుత్వం తప్పు ఒప్పుకొని ప్రజలకు క్షమాపణ చెప్పాలి” అని డా. కాసం హెచ్చరించారు.
కవితపై కూడా విమర్శలు చేశారు. “ఎంపీగా, ఎమ్మెల్సీగా ఉన్న సమయంలో బీసీల కోసం ఎటువంటి సేవలు చేయలేదు. ఇప్పుడు కపట ప్రేమ చూపించడం సిగ్గు విషయమన్నా”రు.
రాముని రాజకీయాల్లోకి లాగడాన్ని ఖండిస్తూ, కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి ఇది తగదు అని స్పష్టం చేశారు. “భారతీయుల ఆరాధ్యదైవాన్ని రాజకీయంగా వాడుకోవడం సిగ్గుచేటు. రాముడు బీజేపీకి ఆత్మ, కానీ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి ఇటలీ డీఎన్ఏ” అంటూ విమర్శలు గుప్పించారు.
Due to the Revanth Reddy government’s failure to conduct elections for local bodies, Telangana is facing a governance crisis and losing crucial financial support, said BJP State General Secretary Dr. Kasam Venkateshwarlu. Speaking at the party office in Hyderabad, he alleged that the state lost around ₹2,300 crore in central grants meant for local institutions. Sanitation workers are facing extreme hardship due to non-payment of salaries, he added.
He stated that even though the term of Sarpanches, ZPTCs, MPTCs, and municipal representatives has ended, elections have not been held, leading to a complete standstill in governance at the village level.
He criticized the Chief Minister for frequently touring Delhi instead of focusing on public welfare and accused him of spending more time trying to save his seat and please the Gandhi family.
Commenting on the recent remarks made by TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud — that there are ten CMs in Telangana — Venkateshwarlu said this reflects the confusion in governance. He mocked Mahesh Kumar Goud for apparently aspiring to be CM and turning his unnecessary padayatras into personal campaigns.
He also slammed the government for failing to complete the reservation process before the July 25 deadline as mandated by the High Court. He alleged that the Congress has no genuine commitment to Backward Classes (BCs). “Instead of focusing on governance, the CM is busy going to Delhi to divert public attention,” he said.
Referring to the BC Declaration made in Kamareddy, he warned that the government should either implement the promised 42% reservations for BCs or apologize to the people for misleading them.
He strongly criticized Kavitha, saying, “When she was MP and MLC, she never worked for BCs. Her current show of affection towards BCs is hypocritical and shameful.”
He also condemned dragging Lord Rama into politics. “Using the name of Lord Rama, whom Indians worship, for political gains is disgraceful. Rama is the soul of BJP, but for Congress, the soul lies in Italian DNA,” he said.
