అమెరికాకు చెందిన ప్రముఖ లిల్లీ ఫార్మా కంపెనీ సహా ఫార్మాస్యూటికల్ సంస్థలను గచ్చిబౌలిలో సీఎం రేవంత్ ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ, తెలంగాణ దేశ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థకు 10 శాతం వాటా అందించగల సామర్థ్యం కలిగిన రాష్ట్రంగా ఎదుగుతోందని తెలిపారు. దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా తయారయ్యే ఫార్మా ఉత్పత్తుల్లో 40 శాతం, వ్యాక్సిన్లలో అత్యధిక శాతం హైదరాబాద్ నుంచే వస్తున్నాయని చెప్పారు.
ప్రపంచ స్థాయిలో ఔషధ తయారీకి హైదరాబాద్ ముఖ్య కేంద్రంగా మారిందని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. పారిశ్రామిక అభివృద్ధికి తాము అండగా ఉంటామని, కొత్త పరిశోధనలు, ఆవిష్కరణలకు అనుకూల వాతావరణాన్ని అందిస్తామని వెల్లడించారు. భవిష్యత్‌లో హైదరాబాద్‌ను గ్లోబల్ హెల్త్ కేర్ హబ్‌గా మార్చేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం కృషి చేస్తుందని స్పష్టం చేశారు.

Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy stated that Telangana is on track to become a $3 trillion economy by the year 2047. He highlighted that Telangana alone will contribute 10% to India’s total economy in the future.
He further pointed out that 40% of India’s pharmaceutical production and a significant share of vaccines are currently being produced in Hyderabad. This reflects the city’s growing dominance in the pharma and life sciences sectors.
