ప్రధాని మోడీ హయాంలో రాజ్యాంగ విలువలు ప్రమాదంలో ఉన్నాయని, దేశానికి సామాజిక న్యాయం కోసం 11 ఏళ్లుగా కసరత్తు చేయలేదని సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి విమర్శించారు. దేశానికి మార్గదర్శనం ఇచ్చేందుకు మనుసింఘ్వీ నేతృత్వంలో జరుగుతున్న కాంగ్రెస్ న్యాయ సదస్సును ఆయన ప్రాశస్త్యం చేశారు.
Under Modi’s leadership, the Constitution is under threat and there has been no real effort towards social justice in the last 11 years, said CM Revanth Reddy. He hailed the Congress-led legal conference under Abhishek Manu Singhvi as a significant initiative to guide the nation.
ఢిల్లీ లో జరిగిన కాంగ్రెస్ న్యాయ సదస్సులో తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రసంగించారు. స్వాతంత్య్ర సాధన కోసం కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ స్థాపించబడిందని, బ్రిటిష్‌వారిని దేశం నుంచి తరిమికొట్టిన ఘనత కాంగ్రెస్‌దే అని గుర్తు చేశారు. ఎన్నికల్లో గెలిచినా, ఓడినా ప్రజల మధ్యనే ఉండే పార్టీ కాంగ్రెస్ మాత్రమేనని, ఇది ఇతర పార్టీలకు తేడా అని చెప్పారు.
బీజేపీ, బీఆర్‌ఎస్, జేడీయూ, ఆర్జేడీ, టీఎంసీ, డీఎంకే, అన్నాడీఎంకేలాంటి పార్టీలు స్వాతంత్య్రం తర్వాత మాత్రమే ఏర్పడ్డాయని, కానీ దేశంలోని దళితులు, ఆదివాసీల కోసం నిస్వార్థంగా పనిచేసింది కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీయే అని రేవంత్ పేర్కొన్నారు. సామాజిక న్యాయాన్ని సాధించేందుకు కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ కార్యాచరణతో ముందుకెళ్తోందన్నారు.
ఇందిరాగాంధీ తీవ్రవాదాన్ని ఎదురించి దేశాన్ని రక్షించిందని, మహాత్మా గాంధీ, ఇందిరాగాంధీ, రాజీవ్ గాంధీ దేశానికి జీవితాలు అర్పించారని అన్నారు. యుపిఎ-1 సమయంలో సోనియా గాంధీకి ప్రధాని పదవి ఇవ్వాలని దేశం కోరినా ఆమె త్యాగం చేసి వదులుకున్నారని గుర్తు చేశారు.

Congress party was established to win freedom for India and continues to guide the nation even today, said Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He was speaking at the Congress Annual Legal Convention held in New Delhi on August 2. He stated that the Congress party drove the British out and won independence for the country. Even now, the party is striving to bring misguided leaders back on track, even if it means giving them two tight slaps, he remarked.
Revanth Reddy emphasized that all other parties like BJP, BRS, JD, RJD, TMC, DMK, and AIADMK emerged only after independence, but it was Congress that worked tirelessly for the welfare of Dalits and Adivasis, and for establishing social justice in India. He said while other parties either sit in power when they win or stay silent at home when they lose, Congress always remains among the people, irrespective of election outcomes.
He alleged that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the Constitution is in danger and that no thought has been given to social justice for the past 11 years. He praised the efforts of Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi in organizing the legal convention to guide the nation in this regard.
Revanth added that critics question what Congress has done for the country, but it was the Congress that started marching for freedom 140 years ago. The party defeated the British to win independence and later, former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi worked relentlessly to drive out terrorists from the country, he recalled.
He also paid homage to the sacrifices of Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi, who laid down their lives for the country. During UPA-1, Revanth said, everyone wanted Sonia Gandhi to become the Prime Minister, but she showed immense sacrifice by giving up that position.
