జమ్మూ కశ్మీర్ పూంచ్‌లో ఎన్‌కౌంటర్.. ఇద్దరు ఉగ్రవాదుల హతం

జమ్మూ కశ్మీర్‌లోని పూంచ్ జిల్లా జెన్ ప్రాంతంలో బుధవారం ఉదయం భద్రతా బలగాలు, ఉగ్రవాదుల మధ్య ఎదురుకాల్పులు జరిగాయి. అపహృతుల ముమ్మర వెతుకులాటలో భాగంగా బలగాలు జరిపిన కూంబింగ్ సందర్భంగా అనుమానాస్పదంగా కదలికలు కనిపించాయి. దాంతో అప్రమత్తమైన భద్రతా సిబ్బంది ప్రాంతాన్ని చుట్టుముట్టగా ఉగ్రవాదులు కాల్పులు ప్రారంభించారు. భద్రతా బలగాలు కౌంటర్ జరపగా ఇద్దరు ఉగ్రవాదులు అక్కడికక్కడే హతమయ్యారు.
ఈ ఘటనతో పాటు ఇటీవల భద్రతా బలగాలు చేపట్టిన ‘ఆపరేషన్ మహాదేవ్’లోనూ ఉగ్రవాదులపై కఠినంగా వ్యవహరించాయి. పహల్గాం దాడికి పాల్పడిన సులేమాన్‌తో పాటు అతడి ఇద్దరు అనుచరులను మట్టుబెట్టినట్టు అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఇటీవలి కాలంలో భద్రతా బలగాలు ఉగ్రవాదుల కార్యకలాపాలను అణిచివేయడంలో గణనీయమైన విజయాలు సాధిస్తున్నాయి.
Encounter in Jammu & Kashmir’s Poonch: Two Terrorists Killed

Two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in the Jen area of Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Wednesday morning. The exchange of fire broke out during a combing operation when security personnel noticed suspicious movement near the Line of Control.
Upon being challenged, the terrorists opened fire, prompting the forces to retaliate. Both terrorists were neutralized in the gunfight.
This encounter comes shortly after ‘Operation Mahadev’ conducted in Pahalgam, where security forces eliminated three militants, including Suleiman, who was involved in the recent Pahalgam attack. Authorities confirmed that Suleiman and his two close associates were gunned down during the mission.
Security forces have been intensifying their crackdown on terror activities in the valley, achieving significant success in recent operations.
