కరీంనగర్ పార్లమెంట్ నియోజకవర్గ పరిధిలో రాజకీయాలు చేయబోనని కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ సహాయ మంత్రి బండి సంజయ్ కుమార్ తెలిపారు. రాష్ట్ర మంత్రి పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్‌తో కలిసి పనిచేస్తూ హుస్నాబాద్ నియోజకవర్గంలో త్వరలోనే నవోదయ పాఠశాలను ఏర్పాటు చేసి వచ్చే విద్యా సంవత్సరం నుంచే ప్రవేశాలు ప్రారంభం అవ్వడానికి కృషి చేస్తున్నామని అన్నారు. అలాగే ఈ ప్రాంతంలో సైనిక్ స్కూల్‌ను కూడా ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నామన్నారు.
ప్లాస్టిక్ నిర్మూలనలో భాగంగా మంత్రి పొన్నం ప్రారంభించిన స్టీల్ బ్యాంక్ ఆలోచన ప్రశంసనీయం అని చెప్పారు. మోదీ స్ఫూర్తితో ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాల విద్యార్థులకు మోదీ గిఫ్ట్ పేరుతో ఉచిత సైకిళ్లను అందిస్తున్నామని, త్వరలోనే నర్సరీ నుండి 6వ తరగతి విద్యార్థులందరికీ మోదీ కిట్స్ (బ్యాగు, స్టీల్ వాటర్ బాటిల్, నోట్‌బుక్స్, పెన్నులు, పెన్సిళ్లు) పంపిణీ చేయనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో చదువుతున్న పదవ తరగతి విద్యార్థులందరికీ ప్రతి సంవత్సరం ఉచిత సైకిళ్లు అందజేస్తానని ప్రకటించారు. సిద్దిపేట జిల్లా కలెక్టర్, అదనపు కలెక్టర్, పోలీస్ కమిషనర్‌లు కష్టపడి చదివి ఉన్నత స్థానాలకు ఎదిగినవారని విద్యార్థులకు ప్రేరణ ఇచ్చారు.
హుస్నాబాద్‌లో జరిగిన మోదీ గిఫ్ట్ కార్యక్రమంలో వందలాది మంది విద్యార్థులకు ఉచిత సైకిళ్లు అందజేశారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ హైమావతి, అదనపు కలెక్టర్ గరిమా అగర్వాల్, స్థానిక ఆర్డీవో, డీఈవో తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar clarified that he will not engage in politics within the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency. Instead, he will work jointly with State Minister Ponnam Prabhakar for the overall development of Husnabad and Karimnagar. He revealed plans to set up a Navodaya School in Husnabad, with admissions starting from the next academic year, and also efforts to establish a Sainik School in the region.
Bandi Sanjay appreciated Minister Ponnam’s initiative to set up a steel bank as part of the plastic eradication drive. Inspired by Prime Minister Modi, he launched the ‘Modi Gift’ scheme, providing free bicycles to students in government schools. He also announced that Modi Kits, including school bags, steel water bottles, notebooks, pens, and pencils, will soon be distributed to students from nursery to class 6.
He promised that all class 10 students studying in government schools will be given free bicycles every year during his tenure as MP. He motivated students by stating that hard work leads to success, citing examples of Siddipet District Collector, Additional Collector, and the Police Commissioner who rose to top positions through education.
At Husnabad, hundreds of bicycles were distributed to students under the Modi Gift scheme. The event was attended by District Collector Haimavati, Additional Collector Garima Agarwal, local RDO, DEO, and other officials.
