పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టులోకి ఎగువ ప్రాంతాల వర్షాల వలన భారీ వరద నీరు చేరి, నిండు కుండలా మారింది. ప్రస్తుతం ప్రాజెక్టులో లక్షా 13 వేల క్యూసెక్కుల వరద ప్రవహిస్తోంది.
Heavy rains in the upper catchment areas have led to massive inflows into the Polavaram project, making it resemble a brimming reservoir with over 1.13 lakh cusecs of water.
ఎగువ ప్రాంతాల్లో కురుస్తున్న వర్షాల ప్రభావంతో పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టులో వరద ప్రవాహం పెరుగుతోంది. నీటి మట్టం పెరగడంతో అధికారులు పెద్ద ఎత్తున నీటిని దిగువకు విడుదల చేస్తున్నారు. భారీ నీటి ప్రవాహంతో అధికారులు, స్థానికులు ఆనందం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.
Due to continuous rains upstream, water inflows into Polavaram have increased significantly. Authorities are releasing large quantities of water downstream as the level rises. Officials and locals have expressed delight over the abundant water levels in the project.
